FCCU has destroyed my credit, I always make my payments on time, on this occasion, I made my payments as usual through bill pay from my Bank of America account, the payment was sent to FCCU, and a week later I got a call from FCCU, saying I had not made a payment, I told the rep that i made my payment like always, I gave her the check number and confirmation #, she said they did not receive the payment. I then called Bank of America and they said the payment had been sent but it was not chased and routed me to FCCU, the customer service rep then said that Hurricane Beryl disrupted their collection of checks from their lock box and that I should call the bank of America to refund the check, and that I should then call back and pay over the phone and that I would not be charged a late fee or any penalty. I did as instructed. and paid the amount only to find out that FCCU had reported to the credit bureau and that resulted in my credit dropping down 40 plus points. I called them requesting they take responsibility and fix what they caused and they declined, saying, I should call the credit reporting agency. FCCU is the worst bank ever, they have shady practices, You do not have a beak down of payment, they keep adding late fees to your payment before 16 days are up, they enroll you in insurance and tag it onto your account without your approval or notification. Please avoid this Bank if possible they do not have the customer's interest at heart.

they illegally hold people funds cuz they feel they can. my funds came in from the same company before but now its a problem and moved all funds from being available. I have also sent information stating to return the funds i also hired an attorney to stop them from being to do this even though funds came in with my name attached to it.
