Dec. 23, 2023.Bid #*****. Mr. Santiago Owner Ameerican Affordable: I Instaled ***** Tankless Water Heater & Removed 2 Tank Water Heaters. Nature of Dispute: 1. Created a leak in the roof around the exhaust pipes. 2. The T&P Valve overflows onto the attic floor when it is activated. Did not put in new piping for the drain for the T&P valve. 3. Did not install exhaust pipes thru the roof. He used existing pipes from old tank water heaters. 4. The exhaust pipes do not match up from the tankless water heater to the old exhaust pipes for tank water heater. Not the piping No new flashing.Not secured 5. No Drain Pan installed. Previous 2 tank water heater each had a drain pan. I have repeatedly sent him messages via text, email, voice recordings. He came out once and caulked a small area of the vent pipe area that was leaking after he installed the job. That did not stop the leak. He was notified repeatedly. During the 2 to 3 weeks for a while he was receptive to fixing the issues. Then it stopped returning or answering my calls and messages. I inquired about the following this was while he was telling me that he would fix my issues. After the tankless water heater was installed I inquired about him putting in a wall condensation unit. He gave me a price. He then said he would put it in for free because of all the inconvenience that I was going through and of course that never happen either. The only resolution he did was. He attempted to caulk an area on the vent to stop the leak. It did not stop the leak. He was informed that it was continuing to leak. On contract Invoice (Our Bid #*****). The following tems listed were Parrell Series Piping/New Roof Jack. 2 yr. on Labor. His contractor invoice list the company as American Affordable Src. but the BBB has listed as American Affordable
