      I had to share our amazing experience with the bp station located at 11120 Hwy 23, Mars Hill North Carolina. We are snowed in with 3 small children and no food on our vacation when we contacted Ruain, the owner of the bp station. He was amazingly kind and made 2 trips up the mountain over the next few days bringing us food. We do not know what we would have done without them. Thank you bp for having such an amazing owner. We now count them friends and wish to support them in any way possible

      VERY VERY VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE Employee refused my service because she did not know the price of the merchandise I was trying to purchase. Employee called boss to ask for the price of items, the boss did not know either. I have bought these things before from the same location. I made her aware of the price I pay very often. She refused. Told me to get out. I asked for her and her boss’s information so that I can file a complaint, she refused. ***** ********* ** **** ***** ******* *** ****** ******* ******* ** ******* *** ****** ***** Worst experience ever all because I stopped at the gas to make a purchase and employee didn’t know how much to charge me. Under no circumstances did I do anything wrong!! Terrifying experience customer and employee yelling at me all because SHE DID NOT KNOW THE PRICE!!! This location has also stolen money from me! I purchased $20 in gas, they charged my card for $30. I went back to let them know and they took down my information and I never heard from them again. I showed her how there were 2 transactions on my card at once… one for $20 and one for $10. They never helped me or refunded me and it has happened several times but I didn’t know until I checked my transaction history. Honestly I never get receipts at the pump, so I didnt have that. This location is definitely a rip off. You can you something on Monday for $2, go Tuesday and a different employee may charge you $3, then on Wednesday you’re paying $2 again. They need to be investigated !!!!! If I could give 0 stars, I would!!!

      Very unprofessional and take no responsibility for their mistakes. I had a business account with them and they were so unprofessional. When we would call in no one could help and they’d just give you a run around. They pull your credit and then after that no questions can be answered and don’t bother speaking to a supervisor they don’t ever return calls.

      BP runs a promotion program which is supposed to reward customers with a $.10 and then $.20 discount on fuel if they buy a minimum of $100 of fuel each month. I have been doing this for over a year and I still never get more than a $.05 discount. I have called BP and they claim that this is because I did not respond to their monthly enrollment email soon enough. Evidently you have to reenroll every month by responding to an email they send out. What they don't tell you is that you have a very short window of opportunity to respond to these emails. I responded to the latest one for example within about 6 hours of receiving it and was denied participation because i didn't respond soon enough. Essentially BP is running a scam because they send an email out at about 7pm and if you receive it and respond the next morning you are too late. I don't know how soon you must respond but it seems like you have only a few hours if that. Calls to BP were met with a refusal to acknowledge the problem and denial that I received an acknowledgement email of enrollment and then not given the discount. Buyer beware! Ed M

      My father and I have been going to the BP on 608 West Lamar Alexander Parkway for 4 years. They've always been so nice until today. An employee named Ginna L. said that we looked homeless and demanded we leave our backpacks behind the counter. We left. When I called to ask for her name, she said she thought we had guns. Then lied and said that she called the cooperate office. I've reached out to BP and hope they will give the employees at this specific location conflict resolution training. I'm also hoping to find out their exact policy, which needs to be visibly posted. So others who have less money don't have to suffer the same kind of discrimination.
