    Complaint Details Detail of complaint In January of 2020 my wife ******* and I purchased health insurance from ********. We paid our monthly premium of $819.79 which was automatically deducted from our bank account every month from 1/1/2020-12/31/2021. When talking to the representative we were told that the insurance would cover all preventive visits and specialist with a small copay. We were told hospitalizations would be covered with no deductible. Radiology would also be covered. We also inquired about all our Doctors and hospitals to make sure they would all be in network and were told yes. My wife was hospitalized in September 2021 and all of the claims have been denied. The surgeon and anesthesiologist were not paid at the stated percentage and cost us a lot our of pocket. My wife's bill with the hospital is $43,297.64. They have also not paid for my emergency room visit and x-rays which total $4783.35. We made many attempts to contact ********. We left many voicemails and never was called back. We sent emails that went unanswered and chats that were not there. We contacted the ************************ in *********** because we are currently being sued by ****************. They told us to contact you. We were informed that ******** was told to not sell insurance in *********** and to pay all open claims.Describe what you would consider to be a fair resolution to your complaint.Since we made our monthly payments it would be fair for them to pay as promised to settle lawsuit.

    The problem i have is Salvasen Health was my health Insurance company i had for over 2 years, during that time i paid $328.00 for over two years, which totaled over $7800.00. i was assured at that time that all preventive procedures were covered in full, they neglected to pay for a routine colonoscopy from 7/9/2021 and a Wellnow charge of $335.00 ..... They will not answer any further calls, a website is non functional, it appears from all i have read about this company, they are no longer in business......i do not know where to turn

    I had coverage with Salvasen Health during a period in which I received urgent care services. As of today, Salvasen Health has not paid the bill nor have they sent an Explanation of Benefits. I have sent them emails, but they do not respond. By law, I am required to receive an Explanation of Benefits from my Health Insurance Provider for the Banner Urgent Care Services-invoice number: ******* Can you help resolve this issue?

    I signed up with health insurance for this discount plan for 2 months which is around 1, 000 dollars and this salvasen health plan paid nothing towards my doctors bill or my labs. They told me they would. I keep getting bills for stuff they were suppose to cover. They didn't cover anything. I paid for 2 months and they ***** my money. I have called salvasen health and I have sent emails and I get ignored. No one will respond to me. Please help!

    Purchased health insurance from Health Shield Plus in May 2021. Had been paying $350/month for this insurance. I had seen my doctor multiple times in Oct and Nov 2021. My provider (***** Health, Massachusetts) filed the claims with ****** ****** ************** Claims Services Inc. ***** ******** **** *** **** ******** ** *****. After multiple calls and re-submitted claims by ***** Health to ********* Claims went unpaid, I followed up with *********. I was informed on 4/27/22 that Salvasen Health had taken over the claims processing from ********* Claims. I then reached out to Salvasen Health by phone, website chat and email multiple times between April and July 2022 with no reply other than direction to send claims to ************; PO Box **** ******* ** *****. My search online and on BBB website shows many of the same complaints from other people. I had also found a notice on the Massachusetts government website (mass.gov) from Feb 2022 where it was announced "Products offered through Salvasen Health are not insured health plans and Salvasen Health is not licensed to sell health insurance in Massachusetts". However, I didn't buy my insurance from Salvasen Health. They took over a claims business that the insurance company i did purchase a plan from (Health Plan Plus/Multiplan) was using. Please let me know what my options are to get these claims paid. They total over $2000. thank you. Dan *******

    I have a medical billing issue with this company. I have read and understand what my medical insurance coverage are and was paying the monthly premiums back in June 2021 to Dec 2021 after realizing that my bills were not being paid by Salvansen Health for my date of service on 7/23/21 and for my blood work with Quest Diagnostics. My DR ordered everything under what the plan states that it covered for well visits and labs were covered 100% for well visits. It was in February, I have a bill stating my medical bill was going to go into collections and I had dispute with the Dr's office and Quest Diagnostics to re-bill to this claims address. I have not heard anything since. It is still pending. I never received any explanation of benefits for my Dr's visit but I did get one for my blood work for Quest Diagnostics. I had called Salvansen 877-707-1442 to discuss on why my claims are taking over 90 days to be paid. At that time when I called, it was sometimes in March 2022 and the customer service lady had asked me to call back within 2-3 weeks to follow up if the claims will be process. When I tried calling back in April 2022, there is only the loop and prompts to speak to someone. The phone will ring about 10 times and a recording will tell me to leave a message and someone from their office will return my call within 48 hours. Well, I tried calling back again the following week, same thing. No one ever calls back. NO ONE! It is now September 2022, I am trying to call this same ph# and now it prompts to contact them via email only. I should of known from the beginning, paying high premiums, crappy benefits and it sounded too good to be true. Please someone help do something about this company!!!!

    Refusing to pay the three medical bills and as of 8/23/22 they want another 45-90 business days. These claims were sent to them three times before acknowledging they were even received. This has been going on more than a year.     I purchased an insurance plan through Sylvan Health in February of 2021. I had a doctor's appointment approved through my plan and set up the appointment. My appointment had a $50.00 copay. I received a bill on Monday August 15, 2022 from that doctor that it was denied. I tried several times to contact this company and it rings and the line goes dead.
