After spending a great deal of research and looking through various types of insulation, I came across the Prodex insulation. I wasn't sure if it would work for what I needed. I have a metal MD Barn and live in Southern Utah. We had installed misters, fans, and even an evaporative cooler, but nothing would cool down my barn and keep it cool. We tested the roof at over 170 degrees and friends stated there's no way, without insulation, to overcome that. We've built our horse boarding facility to be top-tier and needed a climate-controlled environment for summer. After watching a few YouTube reviews of clients in their metal garages showing the before & after temperatures, I was sold. I bought the 10M Plus: R22, as well as the tape and the glue. Once we ran out of the glue and tape, I bought more from Home Depot - for the glue I used Gorilla construction glue and this works much better. There are spots where the first glue I bought is letting go, but the Gorilla is holding fast. The 5-stars is because the insulation is working spectacularly. With my full system up and running, I've been able to drop the temperature 15-20 degrees from outside. Even when it's over 100 - my barn is between 75-85 (depending on the time of day). I'm buying more now for the front barn doors to make it more insulated (this is a weak point when the sun is setting), and I'm excited to experience the difference. Not only is the functionality amazing, but it makes my barn look brand new - and spectacular. It works brilliantly in the winter as well! We had wonderful experiences with our barn staying warmer in the winter when the previous winters were very cold! I recommend Prodex every chance I get - to every equestrian I meet! :)
