They owe a 500.00 refund. Numerous attempts were made for information and to settle this. But there was never a reply.

Dear Customer, I am sorry to hear that you were unsatisfied with our agency, but I just want to make sure that I clarify that this has nothing to do with the service of our agency. You have been with our agency for many years and have consistently been late with both your down payment and monthly payments on your insurance. We have asked both the carriers and the finance company to pardon you on many occasions to avoid cancellation on your policy. We have even asked the finance company to extend your payments dates on numerous occasions. This year's renewal was just the same. You were not able to pay the full down once again, and as a courtesy of my agency we allowed to split the down payment, which is NOT what most agencies will do because we have to send the money to the carrier. You went ahead and let us issue the policy but turned around and went to purchase insurance elsewhere without our knowledge. Therefore, the remaining balance of your REMAINING down payment ($500), was NEVER a refund. We never collected the money therefore there was nothing to refund. It was money that was stilled owed to the finance company. We were contacted by the finance company and told that you would be put in collections if the balance was not paid. A policy was issued on your behalf per YOUR instructions and therefore you needed to pay what was owed. How can you get a refund on something you never fully paid for? I hope that this will help you understand the process. Thanks
