      We went to buy a vehicle with a pre-approved loan from my local bank for $40,000. We agreed on a drive out price of $40K, but according to the dealership, my bank needed a new loan application and to re-run my credit. It was a Saturday, so I could not confirm whether this was true. When we met with finance, the price was increased by almost $1000. We wanted the truck, so we continued with the purchase. A few days later, I found out from my bank that they did not require a new loan application and the dealership had lied. Over three weeks later, my bank still does not show a loan. I’ve reached out to the dealership and they are now ghosting me. This dealership has no ethics.

      I bought a pre-certified 2020 MDX with 26,000 miles last Saturday. The vehicle started shaking the moment I got off the lot. A dealership employee came to home 2 days later to test drive it and said that my tie-rod ends were loose. I returned the vehicle to the dealership today for a refund before their service department had a chance to confirm it was indeed my tie-rod ends, but it was clear there was an issue with the vehicle driving performance. There was also undisclosed cosmetic damage that was not brought to my attention as well. I purchased the vehicle in the evening and missed the dent and scrapes on the front bumper during my walk around. If this had been brought to my attention, I would have not paid full asking price. I was disappointed as I had asked specifically prior to purchase if there was any cosmetic damage to the vehicle. he dealerships solution for this headache was for me to return the vehicle for them to fix the problems or give $1,000 more on my trade-in. The amount of stress, time of work and risk of safety that I endured was worth far more than $1,000 off another vehicle and I told them I would take my business somewhere else. (I should not have to return a certified pre-owned vehicle within 48 hours for repair from a luxury dealership such as Acura! Loose tie-rods should have been caught during the pre-certified check!) There are additional things that dealership fell short on such as confusion on the warranty policy. I was told two different things from the sales rep and the finance manager when purchasing the vehicle, both had to go consult with a manager to confirm what their warranty was which at the time I felt was odd and now in hindsight I find even more concerning. Also, the business card for the dealership rep that visited my home to test my vehicle had their last name spelled incorrectly and the e-mail was incorrect as well. The whole experience lacked quality control and felt messy and disorganized. While

      Ms. *********, I am sorry to hear about your experience at Gillman Acura. We go through a complete Acura Certified 182-point inspection prior to selling each vehicle. We make sure to complete the state inspection as well. Items such as tie rod ends are under manufactory warranty, and we would always replace those parts if it was missed under inspection. We also have a "5 Day Guarantee". This allows the customer to return the vehicle if for any reason they are not satisfied. Once again, I am sorry to hear you were less than satisfied. Our team did offer to fix any problems with this vehicle and/or the option to bring the vehicle back. To our understanding, you did bring the vehicle back on 3/22/22, two working days after the purchase and received your trade in back and we canceled the deal completely at your request. Please let Gillman Acura know if there is anything further we can assist you with. Thank you.
