      I’ve made a mistake to purchase the new 2024 Toyota Tundra. It has barely 6k miles and brakes are all jacked up and squeaking so loud where it is embarrassing as well as it’s me and my family’s safety issues. I took it Toyota and now they’re saying they ordered the new breaks and will get them in a month to install on a brand new truck. I don’t understand why would a brand new truck would have break go really bad in just about 6k miles only. I will never suggest to buy this truck as I have 2 of my other friends who also owned one and having different issues with their trucks. One of my friend already sold his Tundra and the other one in the process on getting rid of it.

      I had texted my saleslady, Kennedy) for 3 days and confirmed appointment to meet. Traffic in Houston, Texas is horrid in rush hour. When I arrived, she handed me to an associate who promptly told me that the vehicle I was anxious to purchase had been moved to another location. To say I am ****** is not enough. I will never darken Sterling McCall with any purchase.

      I brought my 2020 Corolla for service repair, I am the first owner of the car and only put 12K miles in 3 years. My diagnosis to them was the front right bearing seemed to be out and needed to be replaced on car with 12K miles (a lemon from Toyota) The dealership kept my car for 6 days and every time I called, said they had performed some work on the car and it did not fix the problem. After 6 days the dealership called to say they found problem with transmission and suggested a good dealer do the repair (I guess they realize they are incompetent themselves). I brought it to another dealership who diagnosed the front right bearing again. And also told me that Sterling McCall stole the bottom engine cover of my car. Filed a complaint with Toyota online. Never heard back from SMccall. They lied to Toyota saying they has called and left me message to explain. When I called them back, the dealership service manager never called me back. Overall lying, thieving, incompetent crooks. Stay away.

      I bought a 2017 Cadillac XT5 from this dealer ship in 07/28/2022 but before purchase, the sale man named Victor Huego told me he couldn't sale the vehicle because it had to go through service(make ready) first because the air condition was not working. Days later I contacted him about the vehicle, he told me that the car had been service and was ready to go. on 07/28/2022 I purchased the vehicle, the next two weeks I had to take it back because the air condition stopped blowing cold air. It was taken into service and work was performed and they gave me the vehicle back, the air was blowing cold at that time, After one or two weeks I had to take it back again because the air condition stopped blowing cool/cold air. This was repeated four more times, tow of those times I was given a rental because they kept the vehicle, two of those times the car was taken to Sterling McCall GM for service. The last time the service manager, Johnathan told me that a seal needed to be replaced, a few minutes later he came back and told me the condenser for the air condition had holes in it and was leaking coolant. He took me back into the shop showed me the condenser which had tiny little dye spots on it, indicating holes. He then said that the condenser needed to be replaced and it was going to cost me $1400.00 because those hole must have happened while the vehicle was in my possession, which I strongly disagree with, because I had the problem every since I bought the vehicle. The damage looked like old damage and that had been the root cause of the vehicle loosing coolant. I spent many hours driving from Texas City, Texas to Houston, Texas and waiting for my vehicle, what ever service they performed or didn't perform never fix the problem. Sterling McCall Toyota I thought was a reputable dealer ship, I guess not. The fact that the root problem for why the air condition loosing coolant/freon and refuse to fix it upset me, these things are supposed to be done prior to the sale.

      Be careful to check every single line items and cross check to other documents and check the amount that was quote to you including any add on. I rejected one of the add-on service because it was a little expensive for my pocket. However, the Finance Manager turn and said that he would help me and see if he can GIVE me the service that I rejected. Mind you that he said GIVE. What he did was deducted out of the service that I PURCHASE and applied it toward the add-on service that I rejected and did not tell me. I would have never agree to that if he would have told me that is what he did. I didn't catch it when I was there signing the paper. I went over it carefully but I didn't cross check the amount to what was quoted. I caught it that night, while reviewing all the document and cross check. I was furious! Who does that to a customer? The Finance manager said he will reverse the mount and take away the add-on service that he said he GIVE me. I refused. I want him to refund me the amount that was deducted and apply to the add-on service. The Finance Director finally agree to refund me the amount and I get to keep the add-on service. However, I have yet to see that amount. I have call to get a status but no response. My issues here is the principle. When you say you give something it mean that it's free. If it's not intended to be free. Don't say GIVE. Use your word wisely. I know I made a minor error but to be a great customer service you may need to cut your losses but you will gain the trust from your customer. That customer will be with you for life. I'm working on getting that fee back. I will update if I see the money in my hands or apply to my account. Stay tune.

      Definitely a dealership to avoid. I called on a used Camry, was told it was available, and agreed to purchase at full listed price. All cash offer. Was told i would get a call from finance to get the paper work together. Received a call 2 days later saying sorry, car was sold, but we have just about the same car for $3000 more. Bait and switch tactic could not be more obvious. Gave dealer ship the opportunity to make good on our agreed price and I would take any of the other 2019 Camry LEs on the the lot at the same price we had agreed upon. Some even had 3K more miles on them. Was told no and that they understood if I did not want to do business with them. Bottom line line interested in profits here than integrity.

      Date of this report: 09/17/21 RE: Sterling McCall Toyota care dealer Services. On Jnuary 13th 2021, I took my Toyota Matrix for multi point inspection maintenance purpose. Service man reports some problems he clain he detected, i let them fixed the said problems. while waiting for car repair to be completed, One Mr ****** ****** from same Sterling McCall Toyota (xchange Acquisition specialist) offered me a voucher for $2,500 to buy back the old car. this i decline. then car repair completed and I paid and took car home having spent hours in their waiting room. 3months later, Saturday 10th April 2021 i took the car in because the passenger side light bulb and shifter jar bulb were out and needed to be replaced. The service man checked me in, look at the problem and said that was not going to take too long, so i waited for ever until he came later and said some went wrong and i will have to pick up the car tomorrow. So i went home day one gone. On day two work day, no one will answer my calls until i eventually find my way to the shop. The story is now the Matrix Harness need replacement, at what time and how may days it took for this new findiings i have no idea. i agreed to have them replaced. i was told it will take another whole day, i said that was fine too. i went home without a car and no work. On day three work day now i got a call to pick up the car, got to the shop, problem not fixed, Instead Service said they were unable to get the spare part, so the mechanich HOTWIRED the electrical cables and attached to the car Battery and that they will let me know when parts are available. i shoild go with the care since it is still drivable. I paid $144.83 said to be cost of bulbs replacement only. Mr ***** ******* again offered $2,700 to buy this same car back before it was brought for me to take home. i also decline. On 9/16/21 i got to the shop on appointment to complete the service and have them fix the problem and also do inspection. The original service took car in, After 3hours plus came back and said $2,700 cost to replace the Harness. when i said that was too expensive, he then said i should take my care and leave. I repotered to whoever was presented as the manager. i left with no car Today 9/17/21 i have received multiple calls teliing me the problem was not created by their technician and they were not going to fixed the car, i should come get the car. i am yet to go and i have know idea if it has been completely destroyed. i need help but i also want to warn anyone going to sterling McCall Toyota for repairs should video the car in and out for a baseline. I HAVE BEEN DUPED. My best bet is because i refused to let them buy it back because it was in good shape, so they destroyed it to enable me buy a new car. whatever their reason, Car owner please take a least photos of your cars before dropping it off with mechanics of any sorts. I had very horrible experience i have no words to describe people who do not take responsibility for their actions, or say sorry when they are wrong but instead lie about what they have done, but i know some one is stealing valuable parts from customer cars and replacing them with broken parts. to enable them make money.
