1 starRented from Dolce Living in *********, worst experience ever especially since they title themselves as "Luxury" apartments. I had better service renting at a non-luxury apartment when I was in college. They entered my apartment with my teenage son (a minor) without proper notification, then they tried to deny it, even though I have proof in emails of them saying they did. I reported my neighbor on numerous occasions due to them leaving cigar rappers all outside, condom boxes, smoking marijuana that lingered into my unit. NOTHING was done. Then my neighbors set their unit on fire, so we were all up at 11pm cause the fire alarms went off. Once I put in my 60 day notice, they finally decided to evict them. DO NOT LIVE HERE! The management is rude, unprofessional, as well as the community managers.Review fromWilliam C.

1 starThis company has no respect for its tenants. The leasing office has no respect or manners. They never have a manager available to resolve any issues.Review fromcarlyle b

1 starMy experience with Adara Communities has been extremely disappointing. After graduating from high school, my parents gifted me an apartment at Brays Village Apartments in Houston, TX, and it turned out to be a nightmare. I faced harassment from both neighbors and management, who consistently failed to show me the respect due to a tenant. I was frequently accused of vandalizing the property without any evidence. The situation worsened when I discovered what appeared to be mold in the apartment. When I reported this to the leasing office, Management(Poonam Tiwari ) downplayed the issue, stating that if the test results indicated mold, I would be released from my lease without any negative impact on my credit. However, they warned that if I used their vendor and the results were negative, I would be responsible for the costs. Subsequently, they sent maintenance to paint over the mold, and I have video evidence of this conversation and the painting process. Eventually, the mold reappeared, prompting me to hire a licensed inspector who confirmed its presence. I submitted the inspection results to the office, but they pressured me to vacate quickly. Shockingly, they broke into my apartment before my lease ended and stole $1,500 that I had saved for rent, which they admitted on camera. I have compiled a folder of evidence documenting these incidents. Brays Village is a terrible place to live and they will have their day in court; I strongly advise against leasing here to avoid unnecessary stress.Review fromAmber H.

1 starThe owner John ******* ** * ***** ****** ***** ******* This guy intentionally held on to very important paperwork of mine which delayed my entire move, due to an error made by HIS employee. Following the paper work release he gpes on to “create” additional charges , to assure he gets “a months worth of rent out of me” due to my decision to move. After THOROUGHLY cleaning my apartment with a reserved deputies help, he proceeds to tally outlandish amounts for minor issues. (Ex: $120.00 charge for things he NEVER addressed the entire time I was on the lease like faulty stove burners and burner covers.) Very sick and selfish work. She man owns more than one property and gets over on various invidivuals.Review fromDaniel E

1 starYOUR ESSENTIAL NEEDS WILL NOT BE MET. Arbor Hill Apartments San Antonio I’ve had nothing but problems since I moved in, from not having power for days, sewer lines flooding that only got fixed when health dept was notified, water heater wasn’t working when we moved in, heater goes out, electrical panel caught on fire inside my unit. List goes on, but my two main concerns are that the water was shut off all the time unexpectedly. And the extreme hot temperatures in my unit. The lease says the tenant must keep the temperature below 80 degrees, Last year it was getting up to 95 in my apartment with two windows running non stop, making my electric bills over $300 a month, I’ve complained for over a year and nothing has been done. I have asked for an early move out date and they will not approve because they just want your money but don’t actually want to help you. I would avoid these apartments.Review fromELIZABETH G

1 starWe have had a horrible experience with Imperial Chase Apartments in Spring, TX. It took almost a year to get a door replaced that refused to close and was water logged, had a horrible cockroach problem, my son had to do some of the repairs to the AC and heat because they wouldn't get it done. We had to pay a huge move-out fee and after paying exactly what they said we owed, I get a collection notice for $118. We were never told we owed any additional fees, no email, no letter in the mail, nothing. Total fail in business ethics.Review fromForte A

1 starI lived at Shadowood in Addison, TX. They have billed me for over $500 for carpet replacement. Other than a few stains, I didn't damage the carpet to the point of it needing to be replaced. It was used when I moved in, but the manager claimed they bill everyone when they move out for carpet replacement. I was willing to pay, but they disabled my login and told me I'd have to drive (30 miles) to give them a money order. Problem is, the manager is rarely ever there or at least is negligent about answering the phone. I called Adara leaving a phone message and left messages on their website to resolve this online or over the phone. Their response was to ignore me and forward my debt to a collection agency. This is the WORST apartment community I have ever dealt with.Review fromSandra W

1 starMy apartment have allowed issues to arise. I had to get an attorney to make them aware of all the issues. This month I received a note in my door, I was to vacate the premises on July 20th. I didn't understand why when I had been asking for months to be released from my lease due to crime, disrespect from office personnel, my grandson getting ate up by ants that is highly allergic and other family members. After they received the letter from my attorney, they decided to retaliate. After receiving letter in my door to vacate premises July 20th, I went to pay my rent and was locked out of the portal and had to go and get a cashier's check only to find on the resident login, my lease status was listed as Eviction. I had applied to another apartment and the office staff put on the rental history, I had not paid my rent on time and other false statements. They concluded by stating, their reasoning was due to me complaining to the office staff too much. They made me lose money and time when they sent in an incorrect fraudulent letter to the other complex. I have lived there for over 7 years, but after the new management came, I have had nothing but problems and forms of stress. at Waterstone.Review fromJovon J

1 starI was a resident at cinnamon Ridge in Pasadena tx.( right near Houston tx). I signed a year least expected to resign UNTIL ROACHES ?? STARTED COMING from everywhere. They crawled on me as tried to sleep. My Mental is soooo screwed over roaches. This went on until A ROACH crawled in my ear, and emergency room removed it. They could care less the STAFF lacks competency BADLY. I ended up calling the fire chief , FIRE PLACE never worked BUT i was paying. The apartment was smoked out on more than two occasions. This is when discovery was made that none of the bed room windows opened. When I say this was the worst experience I’ve EVER had with an apartment… I don’t even recommend the roaches keep hanging around let alone US HUMANS NEVER LIVE HereReview fromMercedes C

1 starThey have left black mold in my apartment and have refused to fix it for months. The maintenance man has ruined two gifts my mother has given me and laughed about it in my face. It was not an option to be reimbursed or replaced. The only thing he used to clean my black mold was one rag and a wet-vac, NOT even one actual cleaning supply ! The management is completely unprofessional. No one should be forced to live with black mold I could become sick and they have no concern or worry about my well-being. This is completely sick I would not recommend living here. There is also heavy gang activity in these apartments. Whatever you do do not live here, you will regret it!
