Terrible experience. Sold me a home where lots of internal repairs were needed and caught in the inspection (and fixed because I required it before signing), but garage door was purposely locked and unplugged so that the inspector couldn’t check it, and I found out the day after closing. I had asked about the garage opener many times and my concerns were shot down. The day after closing, I realize that the door never worked and I couldn’t unlock it, so I called trying to figure out what was going on and contacted Brandon, who was incredibly rude to me and basically said tough luck, I’d closed on the terms and there was nothing that was going to be done. The first night of moving into my home, my entire first floor flooded after taking a small bath upstairs. The next day, half the outlets went out and lights stopped working. The next day, my son stepped on glass left in the carpet by one of their contractors and has blood pouring out of his foot, spilling all over my carpet. My realtor had contacted the seller to fix something that wasn’t done correctly, and when the contractor for the seller came out, I told him all the things that were wrong. Talked to seller and the seller said he would try to help me and to forward all the repairs that I needed and my receipts, then he tells me to forward them to Brandon. Brandon flat out writes back that I signed a contract and that there is nothing he will do for me, despite the seller verbally telling me he would help me as much as possible. I’m a single mom and this was my first home. It has horrible to know that after they got my money, they didn’t care about me at all. No integrity, dishonest, and rude. I would not recommend buying a home through them.
Dishonest, rude, has no integrity. They sold me a house that they flipped but had obviously not done an inspection on first. On inspection that I paid for, there were MAJOR issues that I had to demand were fixed before I signed. Water heater was out, electric panel needed to be replaced because it was so old, roof had major leaks and damage, HVAC barely worked. They purposely unplugged the garage opener from the ceiling and locked the door with the hinge so neither me nor the inspector could check if it worked. I asked about the garage door and opener many times, and each time they just told me it was unplugged and there should be an opener. The day after closing, I find out that the garage door never worked, there is no remote, they had purposely unplugged it to deceive buyers. I called Brandon Smith because the door was locked and couldn’t open it, and when I found out it actually didn’t work, he basically said “tough luck, you signed a contract. Too bad.” I was horribly upset. He was incredibly rude to me and told me it wasn’t his problem.
