On August 28, 2023 I ask a quote for a roof replacement from this business: “Houston Cheapest Roof Company” “aka” ****** Home Services., LLC. They didn’t respond the first time; like they advertised. More than a week later I contacted them through “Texas Best Roofing and Construction Services”. I have to send them screen shots of our conversations on FB messenger. I gave Mr. Darren ****** or his brother. (they will never identified themselves on messenger.) all the details about my project: “A one story house, high / low, simple shape. 1,600 sq ft. (16 roofing squares).” They wrote that info on the head of the quote. Instead they calculated 20 roofing squares for a 2,000 sq ft roof. Back then I didn’t know anything about roofing squares and how to calculate how many bundles of shingles my roof will need. My roof was replaced on 09/12/23 . While at my house the lead man told me that he just measured my roof and that it was 1,800 sq ft rounded up to 1,900 sq ft and that he just ordered more shingles and material. So, they charged me $750 more on top of the $4,100 from the quote. Ten days later I was checking my surveillance videos and I saw the workers taking 10 bundles of shingles behind my back. 20 roofing squares - 16 roofing squares =4 roofing squares X 3= 12 bundles of shingles. 19 roofing squares - 16 roofing squares= 3 roofing squares X 3 = 9 bundles of shingles. *** Every square roof=3 bundles of shingles. Grand total : 21 bundles of shingles X $42 (per quote) =$882 (overcharged for only shingles). Easily they owe me a $1,000 for all the materials they didn’t use. I have sent Mr. ****** e-mails about the discrepancies, roof leaking and detailed invoice with warranties. On 9/23/32 He contacted me and promised me a refund for 09/25/23. Now, nobody answer any of my e-mails. I told him that I had a deadline to turn on my invoice to my insurance company. My last e-mail states that “on Oct. 1st. I am going to call any consumer investigator in town”.
