Based on our poor experience, I would NOT recommend Perfection Remodeling, Victor *******, to anyone! The custom wood cabinet doors cracked within 3 months, doors not completely painted and/or the paint chipped in several areas. His work didn’t even make it 6 months before falling apart. He was hired in Dec 2021 to remodel our kitchen based on the gorgeous blueprint WE provided. As of Sept 24th our kitchen is finally 99% complete. But, per Victor, it's 100% complete bec he refuses to finish the final details. The picture of our kitchen is listed on his ******** Page, and reads another happy customer. NOT TRUE! It took SEVERAL unanswered calls and text messages from May 2022 to Sept 2022 to get to the 99% completion point. Victor ignored us as well as SOME communication from our friend that referred him. When he decided to respond it was always with an excuse…. I hurt my back, I’m out of town, my painter is not available, I’ll call you next week, etc. Additionally, during the earlier part of the kitchen remodel, our hot water went out, and Victor told us the unit needed to be replaced. Again, he came recommended so we trusted him. We later learned after paying him thousands of dollars to replace the unit, that it wasn’t broken after all and only needed the knob replaced, not the entire unit. When we confronted him, he denied this FACT, but eventually owned up to with the response of “he doesn’t do repairs only replacements”. His dishonesty cost of thousands of dollars because we had already paid him for the new unit and threw away one of our perfectly good water heaters. It’s apparent he saw an opportunity to take advantage of the trust we put in him, which again, was only because he was referred. We provided snacks, meals, music, etc. to make him and his team comfortable during this project. This unethical and deceitful behavior makes it hard to trust other contractors. This is so disappointing because initially, he seemed so caring and trust worthy.
