Signature Shutters accepted our order on May 14th 2024 for outdoor awning with us putting down a 50% deposit of over $4,000. Installation date was to be 6-8 weeks. As of today we have not received the awning and after visiting their Houston office found that Signature Shutters has been evicted since August 1, 2024 for lack to rent . We contacted the owner Chris ****** several times starting in late June and each time he gave us false installation dates. DO NOT do business with this company .Review from Tony S

I would like to express my concerns regarding the services provided by this company. In April 2023, I contacted them with the intention of installing shutters at the rear of my home. The sales representative visited my property, and we discussed the available products and selected the most suitable options for my needs. I informed the representative that I had a specific timeline for the project and was assured that if I made the full payment, the installation would be completed within a four-week timeframe. Regrettably, despite making the full payment of over $14,000, I encountered significant delays and inconveniences. Throughout May and June, I patiently waited for an installation date, but none was provided. I repeatedly emphasized the importance of completing the installation before a scheduled event at my home on July 6th, but my requests were met with empty promises. In an attempt to resolve the situation, I reached out to the owner, Chris, during the week prior to my event. I was told that the shutters were on back order and he told me if I chose anyone brand he would have them installation before my event. However that day came and past and I was given another excuse from Chris. I have ask for a refund several time and each time I'll told the shutter have been ordered and waiting to be shipped. I started the process in April and now I am told that I have to installation date in site. I strongly advise you not to use this company Tony ********Review from Andrew F

Try to cancel project due to other more important jobs in my remodeling schedule . Owner!? refuse to negotiate $ 1400.00 it is his explanation "I got material purchase! (total liars) I am suggesting other services stated on his Biss.Card answer was NO! i am not work with you.!" Please help! Andrew

I did try to work with Mr. F********* on numerous occasions. After the job was sold he called me to cancel the order. I negotiated a discount to keep his business and he accepted the offer. The job went into production and was manufactured in the normal time frame considering what everyone was dealing with at the time. After we received the awning, I got a call again from Mr. F********* to cancel the order. I explained to him that we already received his custom awning and it was well past the cancellation time. It is clearly stated on the contract that "Custom ordered products cannot be returned or cancelled. This is a Non-Cancelable Order." Now I am stuck with an awning with a fabric, frame color and size that was selected by a customer for his home. Mr.F********* was informed that once we went into production, he wouldn't be able to cancel the order.
