Worst experience of my life sales person Gary got a annual cost of my light bill and came up with a figure that would be my light bill with the cost of the panels Gary lied straight to my face now I have 2 bills the panels and light bill that is higher than the monthly panel payment also on the contract he didn’t discuss that the contract had a promo after a year I pay 12900.00 or payment will go up double from my original monthly payment. Also offering incentives paying off electric provider early penalty fees free months on payments and money $…... when panels got turned on I contacted Gary we communicated he said he was working on incentives weeks went by called Gary his phone number was no longer available assuming he blocked me I called the Houston office to get Gary’s phone number they would not give it to me but they would let him know also i told them about the incentives he offered me with the sale she said he was a contact worker and were not responsible it on him few weeks went by call Office again again they would contact Gary again never contacted me this week I called the office making a complaint and they would forward to management and they would contact me reading all the other reviews I don’t believe they will contact me wish I would have read reviews first before making the purchase I welcomed this company in my home and they had a great representation and i took trust with Gary not knowing that the time spent with lone star they were going to turn my life upside down I don’t wish this on anyone

We were sold the idea that we will save money if we lease the solar panels. After 2 months my electricity bill went up so high plus the solar panel bill. We tried to contact them to get more panels since we are producing enough energy and they just keep giving us the run around. No one cares that we have a bill of almost 600 dollars . They keep telling us is ok and is normal . They lied to get us into a contract . Now we struggling to keep up

Jessica ****** immedietly responded to my consern. She was very professional and explainedy billing question completely. I am now completely aware of how my consern can be completely avoided in the future but, Jessica was quick to tell me that if I have any concern in the future to call her! She will be glad to look over my account and help me out no matter what the question. Lone Star Solar truely cares about their customers concerns!

*****NEVER BUY A HOME WITH PANELS ALREADY INSTALLED****** I purchased a home in December. The panels were previously installed. They refuse to help me in any way to obtain a certificate of compliance. They used the loose, rehearsed term "completed". If the work was completed, they did not do an inspection or the inspection failed. My city does not have a record of the inspection. So instead of assisting the home owner with their property, they are stonewalling with information. Now I know why the previous owner stopped paying. They have terrible service. The person answering the phone is a clueless robot. But I guess she was well trained.

If I can give a negative 5 (-5) star, I would. After signing the loan for the panels and battery, we decided not to go through with it. Maddie, project manager had the nerve to threaten us with 10% and attorney fee. There was no service done yet and they wanted to charge us. Our rep, Arnold ****** came to the house to hook us again (unfortunately, we took the bait). Lonestar promised incentives - 20% in cash/check, $7k to pay for our water softener, $2400 for gutters (we paid up front, said they would reimburse us), 6 months payment for the loan as soon as the solar is approved and activated. Our solar has been up for 3 weeks now, we have not seen any of the incentives. No body has been in touch with us. We had to keep on calling them to get some kind of an answer but they keep passing us around. At this point, we are in process of talking to a lawyer. We have all the proof of the promised incentives on paper (signed by lonestar) and video clip of the whole conversation from our security camera. This company is a scam. They are all talk.

Worst financial decision I’ve made in my entire adult life. The panels were supposed to be placed on the back of my house. I came home and they were installing them on the front. I told them to stop all work until they got the order correct. They assured me that they would get it installed correctly AND repair my roof on the front of my house. That was in December 2022. It is now October 2023 and I still have several holes in my roof. Sales person looked up my average monthly electric cost for previous year and sold me on the fact that I’d never have to pay Entergy bill again above contract amount agreement. I haven’t had a single month where I have not received a electric bill almost equal to what I was paying originally PLUS the cost of having them install this crap on my roof. So now, I’m paying double what I was originally paying. I’ve made several calls, Put on hold for several minutes with no acceptable response. 1)Someone will call you back. 2) A supervisor will be in contact with you. 3) We’ll send someone out. The list goes on about the responses that never happen. Horrible company with 0 customer relations. I wish I had checked BBB before I signed that contract. BEWARE. THEY DON'T GET A STAR AT ALL

If we could put -5 stars, we would. We are absolutely disgusted and completely disappointed with this company and their terrible customer service. For months now we've been trying to get someone to come out and assess the carport on which the panels were installed. The support beams are all coming loose and even hanging from one side. It's an accident waiting to happen. We've been calling for months and all we've gotten are lies and false promises repeatedly. The contractor Omar, along with Jennifer and Gina (from Lone Star) have repeatedly said that they're going to come out or have someone come and assess the roof repairs needed and we're still waiting. I'm sure, Keyla and Maddy already recognize my voice. I've called almost every week for the past several months. All we keep getting is that they're going to have another contractor come out to see about getting a quote to see what the repairs are going to cost. Excuses and lies, constantly. There's got to be someone other than these two individuals that we can talk to. I've asked repeatedly to speak with someone else and I'm told that those two are the only ones who take care of these issues. When their reps were trying to get us to sign the deal, they were here at all hours of the evening and night. As soon as the deal was signed, we were no longer able to get a hold of either of the salesmen. And now with this, we are unable to get this matter resolved. It appears that the only way to resolve this is going to be by pursuing matters legally. It's a very upsetting situation. This was not a 3 digit investment. We are honest, hard working individuals who had faith in this company and their promises and have been completely disappointed. Do NOT waste your hard earned money nor time in these people. You WILL regret it.

Horrible service, was being charged double for three months and was told I would get reimbursed and this was a year ago and still haven’t! I was told my energy bill would be lower and it’s doubled and now paying solar panels and high energy bill.

I have been wanting to get solar for a while now, so I applied to get a quote. I got a call from Nelson Cano from Lonestar Solar saying that he would be able to help guide with the process. He came to my house and my dog fell in love with him haha! Nelson answered all my questions and doubts, he made me really comfortable moving forward with the solar for my house. Thank you to Nelson and Lonestar Solar for my panels! I'm glad I made the move to solar.

Lonestar Solar Services installed solar at my home and did a very impressive job! I also want to thank and acknowledge Mr. Nelson Cano who stopped by my house, educated me about solar, helped me throughout the process, and always kept a professional attitude with me. I highly recommend this company for your future solar project. A+
