      Mr.*********** has been given his old parts and has been invited down to the repair facility to have our technicians show him exactly where those parts are located on the vehicle and how they have been replaced. The shop manager has also called him for the past couple of days to give him the invoice of parts that he requested but has yet to get a response. At this time the repair has been completed and all requests have been fulfilled that  Mr.*********** has asked from us.

      We originally brought our vehicle to this location on 01-14-22, when our transmission went out on our 2014 Infiniti QX60. The work included installing a new transmission and we were originally told the work would take about 10 days. 4 weeks later we still did not have our vehicle back. We had to call repeatedly to track them down and the only way we got answers was by driving to the shop and confronting the manager, Robert Medrano, in person. We were told that parts were backordered but when I called myself, the parts were available. They finally returned our vehicle to us on 3-2-22. However, the service was so bad we had our service and warranty transferred to the location on Hwy 6 N, so we wouldn't have to deal with Robert or anyone at this location again. There were several issues even after receiving our vehicle back. 1. Several bolts and nuts left out of the transmission pan and several not tightened that were very loose. We filmed all of the items that our normal mechanic saw within minutes after putting the vehicle on a lift. Several of these bolts were to the tie rods to the wheels and if they had come loose it could have caused a major accident. We took the vehicle back to the location on Hwy 6 during the first 2 weeks as instructed for a check up and were told the transmission was working properly. However we have had constant problems with the vehicle shifting improperly, slow to change gears and leaking transmission fluid. When we returned to the Hwy 6 location to have it checked again in May, they told us everything was working properly. We are still having issues with the transmission not shifting correctly, the manual upshift and downshift doesn't engage and it makes a whining sound that is not normal. After paying almost $4,000 to get this repaired there should not be any issues, especially when the vehicle has only been driven 9K miles in the last 7 months. We want the transmission repaired correctly or a full refund.

      I had my car worked on in August of 2022 with an 18 month warranty. It has been to the shop in pinehurst multiple times. ****** the mgr told me not to return my car there. I had to take it to my mechanic and fix some repairs they didn't do correctly but my mechanic stated the transmission was not properly rebuilt. I paid $3000 and have had the run around since I had it repaired

      A claim was submitted by this company with Car Shield to have a torque converter replaced and it was approved on Friday July 5th 2022. I was told my vehicle would be ready on Tuesday July 12,2022 by Robert. I then received a call stating that the torque converter hadn't arrived and it would be ready on a later date. He told me that the converter probably was off the coast of California in a shipping container waiting to be offloaded. He stated that he hadn't received a tracking number and that it would be ready on the next week. He stated that the transmission was apart and a tech was working on it. after 3 weeks I was getting fed up cause I know it shouldn't take 2 full week to have a transmission rebuilt and installed. I picked up my car on July 28, drove away and I noticed I had no AC and my engine light was on. I turned around and they fixed that after about a 15 minute wait. The next day I noticed a strong fluid smell and upon searching I noticed something really large was in my truck due to the scared padding in the trunk and on my rear seat that was let down for extra room. There was oil stains and a puddle of oil in the spare tire latch. Robert said that it was from the transmission parts that were left in the trunk. Trans fluid is red not brown. I also discovered 2 scratches on each side of my car and dents in on my decklid from them pushing the car in and out the bay. Im very meticulous and I wash my car 1-2 times a week and I know what's there and what wasn't. There were mechanic oil stains throughout my interior inside and in the trunk. I paid for a second opinion at another shop and when the car was lifted the noticed a leak from the transmission gaskets, My drive shaft which was replaced 1 year ago that wasn't leaking prior. My car makes a knocking sound when I turn the steering wheel that it didn't make prior of I would've filed a claim for that to have repaired. There's nothing (Expert) about this place! I hate even touched my car.

      Better Business Bureau:

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.   

       The 1st recording is Robert stating the he rebuilt the transmission which never happened and the second video is the representative from American Auto Shield telling my that they paid for a new transmission assembly not a rebuild. 

      Warranty companies don’t pay for rebuilds, only new or remanufactured  engines or transmissions.

      This is the misunderstanding of the customer. The transmission is installed new when vehicle is rolled off the manufacturing plant. There is no transmission shop in the world who can provide so called new transmission. Even the dealership unites are rebuild. Our invoice clearly state, it is rebuild and reconditioned with rebuilt torque converter. Warranty companies are also paying for rebuild transmission. There is no such thing as new transmission after first manufacturing of the vehicle.

      I originally brought my car to this shop in Nov 16th 2021 because I was having issued with my engine due to some work that was done on my transmission a month prior. My car has been in their possession since that day and I did not receive it back until Jan 26th 2022. During this time I had to get a rental car for work purposes and I call 3 times a week while trying to get an update on my vehicle and they kept pushing the dates out further and further. I received my car for 2 days during this time and the engine that was put in was bad so had to take it back. T more engines were put in during that time and I had to keep using a rental for work purposes and I believe the shop should reimburse me for my rental due to their mistakes as the reason my car was in their possession so long. I've contacted them about this issue and all they said is they will get back to me and I've heard nothing further, I've been in contact with Gary the whole time at the location.

      I first brought my truck to this shop last year to have my Transmission fixed. I've returned every couple of months for the same issue and finally they put a new torque converter in on 8/21. The Transmission is still having the same issues. I do not trust Transmission Experts any longer. They just give me the run around and have never fixed the problem.

      Thursday October 21st 2021 around 10:30am to 11:00am I picked up my car from them and my license plate was severely bent and was also drilled into my front bumper and not put back into the holes that was originally ment to keep my license plate intact there's also a dent on the front bumper which wasn't there because that was a new bumper and a new paint job on my car there's also scratches up and down both sides of my vehicle and I also paid $2,400 for a semi rebuilt transmission. And when I called and confronted them about it they said there's nothing that they could do about it that it wasn't their fault that they didn't do that to my car which they did because it wasn't like that beforehand and said that they gave me a really good deal on my car when I was told by somebody else to rebuild my whole transmission that it would be $1,800 with a four year warranty but with them I only got a 2-year warranty with a dent in the bumper and scratches where the messed up license plate is and that's very bent now and that's drilled into my car and not put in the right spot and scratches one both sides of my vehicle. Since it's now going to cost me even more money because of them I would like some of my money back because that is just wrong.
