I really appreciated the professionalism and expertise that Russell and his STX Roofing team gave me throughout the replacement of my roof on 11/27/2023. Replacing a roof was a new experience for me and clearly I was unfamiliar with the process, types of roofing alternatives and their costs. One good thing, my Homeowners Association dictated types and color options which made that part less stressful. I did research on the roofing that was permitted and checked with my neighbors. During my research I came to the understanding that, though there are pros/cons with each roofing manufacturer/system, they were similar. The key was WORKMANSHIP…the quality of the installation. After completing my research, I posted my project on the various home improvement sites. Of course, I received numerous emails/call. However, I went online and researched each one. I looked for ratings, how long established, whether they carried insurance. From that I selected 4 contractors, I was able to narrow that down to 2 contractors. Each one providing in-person demos and detailed proposals. STX provided their proposal on the GAF roofing system. After sitting down with Russell and his Job Supervisor, I felt they would do the best job for me...and they did. Both Russell and his Supervisor were involved in my project from beginning to the end and kept me informed several times during the day on the status of the installation. I was impressed by the level of attention they made to their quality review of workmanship during and after the installation. In fact, they went above and beyond their proposal. They noticed during their initial inspection of the attic that there were a couple of vents that had or were coming loose. During their final quality review of the roof installation, one of their team went up to the attic and repaired. I would highly recommend STX Roofing to anyone.
