My husband and I had to buy our first home due to living in a home with black mold. We had spoke with a salesman before ever going to the lot to look at mobile homes, at Oakcreek in Huntsville, ** at end of May 2023. He was aware of our living situation, and knew we needed out of that environment. So after closing, the house was delivered, during this time a pad was laid that was supposed to be free to us. The pad was made from some fill dirt that was *****....Its been 100 plus in ***** so no it wasnt packed in or anything. ***** arrived not shortly after this. Set up, waiting for electric and water. The contractor that OakCreek uses is a JOKE! He cuts corners and over charges for things he did not do. He charged for water hook up that we did, we found the line and it was ran all the way to the house already, he ran it maybe 5ft, did not ***** the line or anything just laid it on top of the ground. (easy $1500) the underground electric was not even 2 inches under the ground when it went it under the house. Contractor also wired the septic, into the breaker box in the house that was not supposed to be done, due to the fact it VOIDS the warranty.. We have asked several times for this to be fixed, Contacted Oakcreek in Huntsville, and Corporate. No luck in fixing that. ****** at **************** is RUDE as h*** about it. Sends Contractors to repair things in your house and they leave a mess with paint on all appliances, windows, floors etc. Skirting about to fall off of house due to the c*** fill dirt pad. Also Oakcreek didnt recommend the concrete runners to use, like they should have do to it being tape and texture..... We have called about getting the dirt work fixed and they have the contractor call you wanting more money, Oakcreek refuses to fix it. They do not stand behind the contractor Tommys work....I wonder why....BUYER BEWARE To make this short an to the point, WORST 1st home buying experience ever. They mislead you on almost everything. We purchase a single wide Oak Creek Juniper in March of 2022. It was delivered March 31st. The guy that leveled the home did not finish because he ran out of blocks. There were so many cracks in the ceiling and walls it was unbelievable. They have patched over these. Now at least half of them are back. All of The kitchen windows leaked bad. It took them 2 weeks to send someone to fix this. I called multiple times. I had a river in my kitchen. It took 3 trips to fix. Now I got to worry about mold in my walls. The porch has large cracks in a couple of the boards. The porch boards do not go all the way to the house. Honestly the whole house looks like it was thrown together very quickly by amateurs that didnt have a clue what they were doing. They did not put our kitchen cabinets under our waterfall bar. There is just a big blank space where our cabinets should have been. They refuse to fix this! We showed them pictures of the kitchen cabinets in the house we had been looking at in Athens. they promised the house would be exactly the same but with different color scheme. Still havent received new barn door. Its warped. Kitchen wall is warped. Baseboards dont meet floor. The floor has humps about every 6 ft or so. Cabinet doors in kitchen are so uneven.. Took at least a month to even get keys to the house. We couldnt lock our doors when we were not home. ****** at the ********* factory is no help. Good luck on getting her to answer or call back. Our fridge went out 2 months after move in. Took over 5 months to replace. This whole thing has been a nightmare. Im not sure they could ever fix all the issues wrong with this house. We paid over 120 k for it. Because we thought we were getting everything they told us we were. The home came straight from the factory. We never would have purchase something so shoddily put together had we seen the condition of it first. They have not finished punch list 9 months later. Not enough room to explain all of our issues in here.Business response

************** purchased his home from our Huntsville, ** retail center. This transaction did not take place in ********* nor is his home in Louisisana. According to our service records, there is an open service order on his home. I will ask our service manager, ********************* to expedite it. Also, ************** can contact the ***** Department of Housing and Community Affairs for an inspection.
