I placed an order with the original company, Patriot Holsters, on 5/17/21. Since this order was placed the company changed names to Cranky Texans ***************************** The quoted lead time for production was ***** weeks. I received only general status emails about the company and not my order. I have sent several emails first requesting a status of the order, then after no response to cancel and refund the order. I just received an email today, 6/13/22, over a year after the order and it still did not give a status on the order. The company continues to take orders during this time with an expected fulfillment time of 4-8 weeks.Initial Complaint

On April 16th 2021 I authorized an only PayPal transaction to PatriotHolsters.net for ******. Shortly after my purchase the company sent out an email/news letter stating that they were being sued to change company names and all associated aspects of there company. They have over the past year have stated excuses why their production was suffering (COVID, extreme weather, staffing). I have reached out via email (which I can provide), and telephone calls to seek resolution. Unfortunately, I'm unable to get any protection from PayPal due to being past 180 days of purchase.Business response

Communication has been sent and received by the customer. Attached is showing that he has received and viewed everything that we have sent out. Also attached is our terms/policy. A personal email was sent to the customer as well. We are committed to working with each customer and getting them the custom order that they chose to place via the website. As you can see in the email communications we have continued to send out updates. We have communicated the best we can with the resources that we have considering everything that has gone on. We are here working and that is why we have to send out the communications like we have been to customers. We want customers to know we are still here. We ask for customers continued patience as we are not immune to the continued delays that this VIRUS has brought small business and our suppliers.
A personal email was sent to the customer letting him know the order will be shipping next week.

I am rejecting this response because:I just wanted to show more proof of how this company "resolves" BBB complaints. As per the message from Patriot Holsters to the BBB; The shipping label was created for shipment, however the package has not moved since the label was created several days ago. Please see attached tracking information.

Order #R358124022 placed on April 3, 2021 Formerly known as Patriot Holsters, these guys appear to make a great product. When I ordered on April 3, 2021 there was a lead time listed of about 12 weeks. It has been 11 months. I have received mass email notifications, but no response asking for an order update. Beyond disappointed. I just want a refund of my money at this point. If no response from business is received, will contact credit card company and possibly look into filing an interstate fraud report.Business response

This customer has received all communication personal and monthly. The company is a custom handmade shop the order is made specific to the customers options. Communications have been sent out on estimated delivery and the customer will get the custom order that was placed.

I am rejecting this response because:
I cannot accept another non-specific response from this company. I received the following vague information as to when my item would ship (now over a year from when my order was placed):
"Y'alls group of orders are entering the next stages of production and will be receiving your shipping/tracking label between 04/11 to 05/06."
To date, I have received no such confirmation of shipment information.
So a year later, I'm basically told it will eventually get shipped? This does not resolve the issue.

I placed an order on 4/13/21, order # R298200850 in the amount of $88.99. I have made several attempts to contact them both at Patriot Holsters and there new company Cranky Texans Holsters with no luck. As of 3/5/22 I do not have the product I paid for or any communication from the company. I just want my money back.Business response

They sent an email to reach out, however this is the only personal email I have received since I placed the order over a year ago. I responded to the email but I did not receive an acknowledgement that they received my response. I still have no product or refund.

On 2/25/21 I ordered a holster from Patriot Holsters paying $138 and as of 3/4/22 I have not received a specific update on my order, I have not received my order and I only receive generic emails from the company. Considering filing a theft report at this point. I have now asked for my money back and have had no response from Patriot Holster. I would not order from the new company Cranky Texans Holsters either its the same company. I just want my money back to order from a more reputable company where I know Ill get what I ordered.Customer response

Good morning,I ordered a holster from Patriot Holsters on 1/11/21 and was told I would receive the holster within 14 weeks.Asked for update on 6/2/21, after 20 weeks, with no response.Asked to cancel order on 8/31/21, after 33 weeks.On 11/29/21 Tabitha told me I cannot cancel the order and she asked me why I wanted to cancel the order. I explained to her that due to the order not being fulfilled, I wanted to cancel the order. 43 weeks has now passed, I received no response in regards to my answer.Asked to cancel order on 11/29/21, after 46 weeks, with no response.On February 15th 2022, after 57 weeks, I received an email stating my order was being shipped. I no longer need to holster as I already had another one made many months ago and just want my money back. I reached out to both Patrick and Tabitha asking them to again cancel the order and explain as to why my order had not been cancelled and again received no response. Purchased a holster 04/21. They stated lead time would be ***** weeks. I have emailed with no response. I noticed that shortly after the purchases, and new company was started. This seems like a crowd funding to get money to start their new business. To this date, I never received a email on the status of my order, or the product. Out of everyone who has experienced this issue, its time for a class action lawsuit.Business response

I order a holster on 02/01/2021 R910731598 still nothing they keep taking orders when they are not even filling the ones they already have. I wanted to support a veteran owned company I wish I would have never order from them and am telling everyone to stay away will be posting all there emails they send out on my personal page so everyone can see what type of business they run almost a year and still nothing.Business response

I am rejecting this response because: Its been over a year and all that has been shown is that a shipping label was made two days ago. it has not been shipped. I can make a shipping label and say o yeah Im going to send it tell it actually shows that it is in shipping its useless just like when I they put on their website that it had a 12 week lead time. Poor business practice.
