I purchased a new furnace filter from American Air & Heat today, Tuesday November 15, 2022.The price listed on their website stated this specific filter is $42.00. When my husband went to the location to make the purchase, we were charged $58.00 plus tax total amount of $68.79. I then telephoned the location to inquire about the price discrepancy and was told the website has the incorrect pricing. When I explained we had only a budget for the $42.00 (plus taxes), the lady said they could not meet that price because it was way below(?). At that time I did state we would return for a refund, however due to time constraints we are unable to return. If possible, I would like a partial refund for the $16.00 difference, due to the fact it appears that the website is falsely advertising one price but charging another in store. I would greatly appreciate any assistance that the BBB may provide in resolving this issue. Thank you for your time.Business response

I have called customer and stated we will refund $17.32. We are unable to keep up to date pricing on our website with the cost of prices constantly changing. We are in the process of having the prices removed from our website, so this won't create conflict in the future. We apologize for any inconvenience.
