I actually knew *** personally so I thought I could trust him to replace the pergola in my 75+ y.o. mother's back yard. BIG MISTAKE! His job was to replace the existing structure with an IDENTICAL structure. He wanted $12,000 for his work and would have it completed in 2-3 weeks weather dependant. Well, the weather had little to do with it! I was constantly calling asking when his workers would be showing up. And when they did show up, they made a huge mess. **** left trash from food and drinks in my mom's yard, they left the wood sitting on the grass for weeks which killed the grass. **** paid no attention to the sprinkler heads or how close they were pouring concrete to the sprinkler lines. Hired this company in ***** **** didn't start until July due to HOA approval process and they were supposed to get building permits from the city of ********** but I just found out they didn't bother w/ permits. 4 MONTHS LATER, they "finished up". I went over to Mom's a few days later after she called all upset and found that I could have built a better pergola myself. It's not plum, it's not level, the paint job is awful, the boards are pieced together like some type of scrap project. Called *** in Oct. '23 and expressed my concerns, he came out I pointed out everything that was wrong. He said he'd send his guys back out to repaint and fix it the way it should be.... I've been calling & texting for 9 months. It's now July 2024 - a year later and I've still never heard back from the person I thought was my "friend" of several years. If someone will s**** over the elderly mother of their "friend", they will absolutely s**** anyone and everyone!My mother was robbed of $12,000 for something that looks like a kid put it together. Makes me sick!DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!! I don't know who built the things pictured on their website, but that is not a true representation of their work. BEWARE OF ********************* AND HERITAGE ATX....HE'S A *****!

Be aware that ********************* contracting as Heritage ATX Design and Development is not to be trusted with any large work. He is not a decent or reliable contractor. We got his name from another business and did some due diligence given his company was not listed in BBB. We found two bad reviews due to incomplete work which he explained gloriously. He comes across as very credible and experienced in all the conversations, but the performance fell short of that. He asked for payment advances and didnt have enough cash flow to cover while checks were clear which caused us to fund the concrete work twice to keep us on schedule. We believed he was an honorable person and paid in advance for the work. The contract with *** was for $43,000 to re-do the concrete patio around the pool, including turn down the resurfacing and placing the fence back to the original place. The work related to pouring the concrete and building the turn down was completed within 2 months. He uses a lot of labor workers that are not properly trained resulting in a huge mess around the house, including broken sprinklers.The resurfacing work was where we encountered the most issues. He didnt have the experience, the equipment, or the skilled workers to complete this work. He used low-quality material from *********** and the inexperienced workers tried to do the work. The resurfacing work was uneven, including the workers shoe footprint, and the color was completely off. He started disappearing for days, working on the project for one day of the week, and after 3 months of promises, bad work, and heavy frustration we asked him not to come back. This piece of the work was priced at $12,000 and we didnt recover any dollars from him. After 5 months of dealing with this, we contracted another company to work on the resurfacing. They have to remove, fix, and prepare the surface before adding the right texture and colors. It was like night and day difference.

O stars! I paid a $5000 deposit and he never came back. The owner *** is a liar and thief! Do not use this guy!
