Absolutely most ignorant, low IQ, poorly managed company I have ever come in contact with. These people actually promote being a close minded fool who takes irrational mindless orders and refuse an explanation when asked. This is a terrible family business that is managed by a 20 year old boy that happens to be the owners son. Putting a person so young is an Irresponsible decision that has this business lacking employees and unable to keep decent workers around for more than a few days. The majority of the 2 crews they have on all job sites are new and know nothing about the work they are doing. I would never use this company as they over work and underpay there inexperienced employees so jobs arnt done correctly. This company does not promote a happy work place but in fact actively run off people who over exceed expectations and offer forms of innovation to the work place. Im appalled by the way ***** conducts herself as the owner of a business. This company will never thrive and will wallow in mediocrity until it goes under due to the lack of experienced employees, management, innovation and a do it because I told you to kind of attitude. What sums this company up is a lack of leadership, poor workmanship and utter ignorance at every level. Dont get involved with American Erosion Control, you will be saving yourself a lot of headache.

    American Erosion Control, LLC Response

Dear **** Thank you for writing this review. It helped us to understand your perspective, especially of the morning you chose to leave.American Erosion Control is indeed a family business. It is run by a husband and wife team and we are the decision makers. Members of the family take their direction and instruction from us. They do not make decisions, but they do communicate our decisions and choices to staff. Our son therefore at only 20 years of age is not empowered to make any decisions. He takes his direction from us and is required to implement our advice, decision or instruction. And he is accountable to us for this.Being a family business we work flexibly with an all hands to the deck approach to deliver on commitments to clients. This means staff can be required to work with different vehicles. As you had shown a willingness to learn and grow at your interview, it was our decision that you be paired with a different truck. Our objective was that you get to know each truck. It is unfortunate that our best intention seems to have been lost in translation. It is also unfortunate that you chose not to wait to talk to us in person. A 20 year old who is also learning about the work and his role will seldom be experienced in handling dispute. Therefore it is not helpful to issue an ultimatum about walking if you do not get the truck you want. Finally, we absolutely welcome ideas and suggestions, and we are always happy to answer questions and discuss concerns. It is about choosing a time to do this constructively. Building relationships take time, and we are sorry about your ***** departure from American Erosion Control.
