Bought a CPO 2020 **** Mustang paid 30k for this damned thing. first off the sales guy, ****, lied to me about how I had to pay for some dumb key fob warranty and anti theft.Fine. I believed his stupid lies. Thats on me. ****** learned.Next. I take it to a shop to have it tinted. Turns out the car has been repainted and theres hail damage on the car.Next I take it to a shop to see whats wrong with it. Turns out the differential had been leaking for MONTHS. (Keep in mind Ive had this car for a total of2 weeks) and the drive shaft had a hose clamp on it. Its supposed to be welded together instead of a hose clamp. Its a CPO mustang. Theres not supposed to be ANY paint damage, dents or major mechanical repairs at time of purchase. Ever. Thats what CPO means. More mileage and older car. thats it. Not a buy as is Horrible place. I will never ever come back to this dump ever again. Total scam and the car that I bought for 30k was worth maybe 22k at most. Total waste of my money and time. I never want to see this place again.Oh also they currently are holding my car at the shop and its been 6 business days and theyve yet to call me or even text/email me any news about the repairs.Review from Staci S

Sold my truck. Got into a used vehicle, so new to me. About 3 months of having the car, I took it in when I got a notification that my coolant was low.Thought okay, no problem.Turned out I had to have all 4 tires replaced and something about the alignment.Took to have tires changed, they also said something about alignment.Called someone near by for and alignment. They took the car for a ride, said everything was fine. So on the lift it went, my alignment wasn't off.Every control arm front and rear is messed up, my bearings are going out, I have a hair line Crack in the back right tire (break), the under bolt/plug is leaking and someone put Teflon tape on the inside of it.Called dealership, I have no warranties on the car. Don't have anything. They didn't do a certified check on the car before selling it.Suppose to get a loaner to get car into shop because I'm a single parent that has to work, I'm on the 3 or 4th week and still no loaner car.I'm very upset about thisReview from Guy R

My wife and I traded in a mini van with NO issues for a larger vehicle. We purchased a used 2018 **** *** on 3/10/2023 due to mechanical repairs that needed to be done we took delivery on 3/24/2023. On delivery I remarked that I smell antifreeze, I was told it could be residual from repairs that were done. On 3/20 we returned the vehicle to the dealership for leakes and and antifreeze smell. They looked for ** leaks not antifreeze leaks. We clarified that it was infact antifreeze they should be looking for. They stated no leaks found. They told my wife that the leaking was condensation from the ** and we would have that with the ***. We then went back to the dealership and spoke with another individual who was in management and he said he would get to the bottom of the issue. On Friday 3/17 we picked the vehicle back up and were told no leaks were found. We took it home and I spent about 10 minutes with a flashlight and located the leak and the loose bolt that were part of the issue. I corrected the issue and notified them with photos. We took the vehicle to ************** and on the way back south east of *********** it started acting like it was going to die and was very sluggish. We got it home and I notified the dealership on a group chat that the leak was fixed and told them the new issue. We currently have more issue with the vehicle and I understand we bought used as is but this is unacceptable. The vehicle supposedly went through a rigorous inspection prior to becoming an certified used car for Covert. The current issue appears to be the Cam Phasers going out which **** is very aware of. Why was this issue passed on to the consumer and not corrected prior to delivery of the vehicle. Not a fan at this time.Review from Douglas F

This dealership is so bad I dont even know where to start. No 1 I trading in a vehicle they took two months to pay it off. I got charged late fees on that vehicle they took in on trade because they didnt pay it off for two months so I had to make two additional payments on the vehicle I was trading in and start making payments on the new one to prevent me getting a hit on my credit score. They lied to me and told me they did pay it off. They were called at at least 10 times or more regarding this issue and never returned one phone call, finally the bank that I had the vehicle financed at took care of it over the next week. I asked to speak to numerous managers and not one returned the call.No 2 the vehicle I bought was over $80,000. I was told it would be ready the next day. It was four days before I could even pick it up, then when they told me it was ready I got there it had not even been washed, or vacuumed, and was dirty but I had no choice to accept the vehicle, because I had nothing to drive because they had took my other vehicle and already got rid of it.No 3 I was told the vehicle had a full bumper to bumper warranty until ****** miles, within two months of me having the vehicle it had a problem in the front steering. It was a loose bolt. They told me that was not covered even though the bolt was put on by the dealership I paid $700 for the repair. They refused to pay me for it. I also Purchased the extended warranty and guess what, they said it did not cover it either on a vehicle that only had ***** miles on it. General manager said they sent payment to me but never did. No 4 I waited around three months for the license plates and registration on the vehicle. I called again, 8 to 10 times did not get one phone call back from anyone regarding this. Finally a friend of mine knew someone that worked there. He researched it and found out that someone had messed up the titling on the vehicle.Review from Kody F

This place is the worst dealership possible to buy a truck at. I bought one of the more expensive trucks they had, took 4 days to pick up truck. Truck was not washed inside or out. They took 2 months to pay off trade in, they took 2 months to get license and registration to me after i called 8 times. Truck ended up having an issue with the track bar due to dealer installed lift not even ***** miles after purchase. Factory warranty or dealer warranty that i bought did not cover track bar. Manager ********************* is nothing but a liar, sent in receipts to **** that said he could do a reimbursement. Still to this day Ill text him and get Ill check up on it nothing but terrible people, liars, crooks at this dealershipReview from Carlos F

********************* not give your business to this dealership. We paid a down payment, price confirmed and finance rate locked in. Once I got on site to pickup the vehicle after a 4 hour drive, they stated they sold the truck. ********************* General Sales Manager would not honor our agreement and lied that the truck was actually sold. It was relisted for a higher price and they were still taking inquiries and telling customers it was available the next day. We have contacted the General Manager ******************************* and received no reply. It seems they simply do not care. DO NOT TRUST COVERT ****Review from Chase F

Ever experienced a bait and switch? Would you like to? If so, Covert Fort is where you want to go!I saw a car I wanted on their website. I emailed them about it specifically, they got back to me very quickly and asked when I could come by. Since it was late afternoon, and I live 90 minutes away, I said I'd have to come on a different day. They understood and helped me set up an appointment several days later when I was available. They sold the car that I wanted the day before my appointment. Rather than call me up and let me know that the car I was driving an hour and a half to see was gone, they doubled down and confirmed my appointment with me the morning of my appointment. I arrived and they halfheartedly looked for the car I wanted for a few minutes before telling me it had been sold yesterday. Then they tried to sell me a car I didn't want. I left empty-handed with a half-assed apology. I'll never go back. I'm glad they sold the car to someone else, I usually try to avoid doing business with unethical people.Review from Kristi Q

I urge anyone in the market for a vehicle to avoid Covert Ford of Hutto. The **************** at this location do not have the ability to comprehend the importance of customer service. Our experience at this location extended over the course of 10 weeks. During which the dealership was to be performing repairs on the vehicle we had purchased but could not provide any sort of status update or timeframe for when the vehicle would be available. After the 4th week we asked to have the purchase canceled and was informed by the General Sales Manager that the cancelation was being processed. We repeatedly called to verify that the cancelation was being processed as the finance company did not have any record of this process being initiated. When finally connecting with the General Sales Manager, we were instructed to not call him again. While he had given us his business card, according to him the number on the card is a personal number and therefore we were not to call it. Over the course of the subsequent weeks, we left a total of 10 messages for the General Manager but did not receive a single call back. It wasnt until the 8th week that we received a call back from the dealership, providing us contact information for the finance team. The only good thing from this experience was with working with Finance. The gentleman communicated to us the status- of which we learned the cancelation was only submitted one week prior (which is 3 weeks after what the *** had advised). He provided updates with the cancelation status and two weeks later the account was closed, and our down payment returned. It is truly sad that the **************** could not take the time to provide any level of customer service, otherwise we would have kept with the vehicle purchased.Review from Connor M

They broke my car more while claiming they fixed the issue. After I discovered the slow leak, they claimed it was a new issue in the exact same location at last week. They wanted another 2k to solve this new issue. I felt too much like a scam for me to trust them ever again.
