My "Rabbit Wire" never shipped after waiting 47 DAYS I ordered 100-foot roll of 18 wire for rabbit cages from QualityCage.com on 4-8-2024. 10 days later, I received a note stating "be patient".*********** wrote an April 26 email (18 days after order): "Thank U for UR patience. I apologize for the delay--we are behind * short handed. My estimate to ship is May 6." Later THE SAME DAY he writes, "My apologies for the delay! Order*** is will ship May 8."In a May 8 email, "We have not forgotten U! Due to a high order volume, we have issues getting products on their way. UR handcrafted products will be on their way soon." ---to which I immediately replied, "I doubt that the "Rabbit Cage Wire" is something that U actually make at UR location... I assume that it is just drop-shipped from the mfr. When should I expect to get a tracking # for Order***?"After another 5 days (May 13), Mr. ** replied, "My apologies for the delay. Our mfr is running behind on wire rolls. I sent them an email today * will let U know the estimated ship date. Once here, will ship to U immediately with a tracking #."On May 20, I replied, "A week ago U said that U emailed UR wire supplier requesting an estimated date for delivery of my pre-paid Order***. What was the response?"Hearing nothing, I requested a 'charge back' from **** which, based on the documented deficiency on the part of Mr. ** * ********************************* was processed immediately.Avoid "Quality Cage Crafters". Responses are slow * mostly scripted boiler-plate as evidenced by comments about "working hard to make UR products" (the wire is not "made" by Quality Cage). Further, the wire roll being sold was priced fairly, but UNLIKE EVERY OTHER vendor of the same wire, FREE SHIPPING was offered. At 60lbs there is a significant shipping charge by all other vendors. I suspect that Mr. ** advertised this wire * then realized that he couldnt make a profit if shipped free per his "Free shipping on orders over $49.95" offer.
