I was involved in an accident. It took the other driver insurance 3 weeks to admit he was at fault. on the road garage was referred to me by my coworkers husband, who promised they would take care my car. They kept my car for about three weeks, when I went to pick it up before I made within three blocks of my home, my car began to smoke very badly. I called my friends husband, who is an employee at the shop and told him about the problem. He asked me why didnt you take it back? I replied to him because Im just a few blocks from home and I dont know why its smoking . He replied I will call the shop and have them to send you a wrecker to pick up the car. The manager of the garage by the name of ************* me and ask me what was going on, I explained to him that my car was not smoking when they had it but when I drove it home, it began to smoke very badly. He said I will send a wrecker to pick it up and he did. A few days later I received a call stating that whatever is going on with my car they did not cause it. I replied to him. I had no problem with it before I brought it to your garage , he said you can come and pick it up. I received a call from his receptionist stating that in order to get my car I had to pay $455 for the wrecker. I asked, why that was not told to me when he said he would send the wrecker out. So I spoke with **** the guy who initially had me to take my car to them, and I have been getting the runaround for three weeks. I spoke with ****, and he told me I cannot have my car until I pay the fee. And I stated to him you never told me that I would have to pay for wrecker, because I have AAA. He was very smart mouth, and reiterated the only way I can get my car. I have to pay the $455 for *********************** fee. I told him you did not tell me this in the beginning, nor did I sign any papers. The first time I heard about this is when I told you I was coming to pick it up I need them to release my car I am a single female on my own having to rent a car 3
