Builders FirstSource charged me $725 (plus tax) for an install that in the end never occurred, for various reasons. But then what should have been be a simple refund has turned into many months of ignoring my requests. I hate to call anyone or any business fraudulent, but... it is what it is. You earned it, Builders FirstSource. By the way, even if they had refunded the money I would not recommend doing business with them. But with the theft I was a little more at my **** end and wanted to leave a review, which I otherwise would not have done.

Do not I repeat do not hire these people to do your house or anything bad management team and bad workers. I work there for over a month and there so many favorites people they have listed do things ********* no safety boots or glasses also if your any color of race other than Hispanic they will work you to the bone and offer no help but only to there favorites love working with ********* made me realize that 15 a hr for the work and bs you go thru is just straight fine !

Extremely unprofessional delivery driver that represents BMC (Builders First Source) ********, **. He was rude, angry and demeaning towards the ****** community at large while he was delivering goods at my home. His patience level and threshold was so low that he was not even there five minutes and expected me to have all things cleared and be at his mercy. I could not believe his statements about the ****** community and his being insulted by my presence to want to call the police. He was way too prejudiced and was there with an agenda as he knew who he was delivering to. Unbelievable and unacceptable behavior that is equivalent to the inhuman behavior of the ************** officer who killed a pedestrian in January and called her life of no value. No difference between these two people, one is a driver and the other is a professional. Both have zero integrity and low life, filthy humans.

We had a window that was obviously taking in air between the panes causing spots. Our house is only 4 years old so we contacted our builder and he initiated a window replacement under the warranty. This was back in March of 2021. By April we had a replacement window delivered. It wasn't until July that we could get it scheduled but the replacement glass was the wrong size and wasn't tempered like the current window. Fast forward to October, another window was sent (wrong size again) but the contractor amazingly showed up with another replacement that was the correct size. Unfortunately, the window has a bunch of fingerprints and/or handprint smears and smudges in between the glass panes. We're not sure how that piece of glass made it through QA/QC (If that even exists for them.) After this last one the response from the folks we had been in contact with has been next to nothing. They promised to run it by the manufacturing rep but we haven't heard anything since October. Any emails after that month have gone unanswered all of a sudden. 9 months later we sent one last email expressing our displeasure and have just decided to move on with another glass company to get our window replaced as it's just not worth the headache that this has become. I'll gladly pay the cost of the glass and install just to not have to deal with these non-caring folks again. I could see if we were overbearing customers but we would go weeks, sometimes a month or 2, before requesting a status update. Maybe the whole company isn't like this but whoever we have been dealing with started out strong but petered out very quickly.
