      I was in ***** for 3 months and moved and I guess I had an outstanding balance of less than $100 but I was never notified of the balance. TXU Energy sent me to collections, when the collector notified my I paid it immediately. However, TXU Energy refused to work with me to get it removed or updated for my credit reports so now my credit score is down ***** points and I am unable to get approved for a home. Worst experience ever. Terrible customer service and awful **********************. Should not be a BBB accredited business. Would give 0 stars if I could. How are they BB accredited with an A+ with an average rating 0f 1.07/5? Is BBB a scam and "pay to play" model?

      These people at txu energy **** I'm from Lubbock awhile back they told us we had to change from lp@l to another energy company on the list so at the time I received a post card from txu energy saying if you come with us you will receive a $600 bucks **** card and I could spend it anyway I wanted for example buy groceries pay utilities etc , and the c-s-r I made the deal with told me I'd be getting my about the middle of the month of April 2024 pure B/S and April came and went may came and went know we're in June 2024 and I talk to I believe her name is ******. M c-s-r just keeps kicking the can down the road, and I have be chasing shadows trying to get my fist $200. Bucks card then know the tell me how it really works this $hit you get your first $200. First year, second $200.in 2025 , then your third $200.in 2026 by that time I'll be dead compared to what the post card to me if you come with txu energy we'll send you a $600.dollar card they didn't say they were going to break it down in 3payments pure liers scammers just to sign you up to say the least, so to whom it may concern out there consumers be careful with these people I give them a zero in stars I wouldn't recommend txu energy to anyone scam artist for sure.

      I live in **********, this city just recently went into the competitive market on march 20, 2024.. Earlier in year a representative of TXU Energy came knocking on the door looking to sign up new customers.. Gentlemans name was ******, he hand wrote a lot of information bout the plan he was offering with it being a 36 month plan with 12.5 cents per KWH.. $9.95 delivery charge.. $30 monthly discount if u use over 800 KWH.. $30 credit for each referral and we were to receive $250 gift card As deadline date approached that every customer of LP&L had to select new ********************** I called him back to set up appointment to come sign myself and 4 other of my neighbors up in which he did.. So now we get to end of April and after receiving our first bill I then find out that almost everything he wrote down is not true.. $9.95 is a base charge only and not delivery no referral credit for none of us was given.. it actually $10 discount if over 800KWH with another $20 if over 1200 KWH .. seems like some post card was to be mailed out concerning the gift card which none of ever received So after calling and complaining with TXU a supervisor set up for myself to receive gift card and also I have received a couple of measly credits to my accountIT IS WHAT IT IS !!! I furnished names , addresses and phone numbers of the other neighbors to the supervisor as they also should be receiving their gift card and some kind of credits also but TXU has failed to contact any of them .. Also wanna add that couple of these neighbors are women over 80 yrs old that dont understand exactly what goin on so they simply pay what they are billedI ask TXU to do the right thing and reach out to these other 4 neighbors of mine and at least make sure they get gift cards and give them a couple of measly credits alsoAlso wanna add that TXU was selected by the City of Lubbock and also by ********************* as their new provider With that type of prestige given to TXUPLEASE DO BETTER !!!!!!

      Be careful of Txu they have ways of raising your kilowatts to make it look like youre using more energy than you are using, and they will say because of the cold months the kilowatts will go up because youre using heaters, only problem is I dont even own a heater. And then they said that while I am sleeping I am using a lot of kilowatts and they also say that 39% of electricity is being used on my water heater, hows that possible when I am on a tankless water heater that only comes on for 20 minutes in the morning. The last 4 out 5 months the kilowatts has been around 600 but in January it was double.

      TERRIBLE PEOPLE!! Ive had nothing but problems when on the phone with customer service I called to cancel all last week and They at first didnt give me their name at the start of the call and I would start with i Would like to cancel and they would hang up on me I then started asking for their name (Last couple times I got ****? ****? (was a ladies voice)) and then I would then say ****, I need to cancel and she listened she said well you need to call the other company and they need to call us fine. I call the other company, for my situation I needed a Letter of credit from txu in which I called again, got a guy, and he sent me what look like a fake letter via email saying I have no past due balances THATS NOT WHAT I NEEDED. I then call again and get **** and I said I told her I need a legitimate letter of credit with date and shes like i cant send that WHY NOT??? I pushed back on this cause I needed this so Then she puts me on a hold and gets back on ans says i can only send it thru mail ARE YOU SERIOUS?!?! so then i continue to push back and she goes off tangent trying to talk to me about the plans that *** has and I said no thank you AND SHE HANGS UP. IM SICK OF BEING HUNG UP ON. SEND ME MY LETTER OF CREDIT LIKE I LEGALLY HAVE RIGHTS TO AND SEND IT WITH A DATE NOW

      Just terrible company. When I moved out they slapped me with a bill of $300 and I had already paid my last bill before closing my account and no one told me I owed anything. When I called to figure out why my bill is so high, they told me the last few days before moving out, the bill was about $12 a day, which was about $60 for the last five days only. They pretend they will save you money and have great deals in the summertime, but comes around October youre f*cked for the rest of the year until spring time. Never again.!!!!

      TXU is the worst electric company I have ever used. Every time I ask for an explanation for why my bill rises they give a different reason that doesn't make sense. I have been on multiple work trips and my bill will go up even though I am away from my house. The customer service is average in most cases. Electricity is a necessity and they need to do better.

      I had been a customer for over 3 years and had not been in a plan for almost a year. I was ok with that because there was no different to me. When I moved my service to my new apartment they charged me more because my bill was less than the average I use. Second issue was that they charged me $50 for delivery fee which it usually was $12. Lastly they said I enrolled in a new plan. If I would have known I was enrolling in a new plan, I wouldnt have. I like my month to month plan which is convenient for me. Mind you I knew I wasnt in a plan for almost a year. When all this happened I attempted to move service and theyre telling me I have to pay the early cancellation fee. I wouldnt care about the fee except I have no knowledge of stating I was ok with a new plan. I dont remember being advised I was entering in a new plan and dont think they accurately advised me it was a new plan rather than the month to month. Highly disappointed on all aspects of txu. Be careful of your charges and that theyll enroll you in a plan without accurately informing you.

      They must hire people who dont listen whatsoever. I try to have them fix their problem with my email address so I can log in and pay my bill. Nope they wont do it and would not listen to the problem and just keep giving me the run around. THIS COMPANY IS TERRIBLE TO WORK WITH! IF I COULD CHOSE NEGATIVE STARS I WOULD!

      The door to door sales ignore the signs for Non Solicitation and when they were informed of what it means, they cursed and became very billigerent. They did not have a permit from the ****************** to conduct door to door sales. Next time, the police will be called!!!!!TXU get this under control.
