      I had a tenant that b filed for rent relief and it went well however they did not give my tenant the last part of the rent relief because they said she had to refill out the app even though she called the **** and Deval in front of me and they said I just had to renew my info. However they later said she did too. Even worse they cost me over $5,000 when they mailed the ************************************************************************ the envelope window. I was the victim of identity theft and I will be suing Deval and the **** for a lot kore here shortly. They need to make it right. They are the ones who issued the money on behalf of ****. DEVAL IS JUST AS RESPONSIBLE.

      Deval laments the unfortunate situation the Complainant is going through. Deval LLC did not issue funds under the Virginia Rent Relief program, Deval LLC did not issue the 1099, Deval LLC  did not mail the 1099.

      As of Tuesday, March 1, 2022, Deval LLC is no longer administering the Virginia Rent Relief Program.  Deval LLC never issued funds under his program (only processed applications and took calls). Deval LLC did not issue or mail the 1099, ever.  The Commonwealth of ******************** of ******* & ********************* (DHCD), issued and mailed all checks and 1099s to ALL tenants and Landlords.  Contrary to complainant's understanding, Deval LLC had not role whatsoever in sending the envelop attached in the complaint or the acts alleged in this complaint.

      I am rejecting this response because they said the same thing they said the first time just repeated the same wording mis use and ll the second time like they copied and pasted it on BBB. Why they should have a F for a rating and be held responsible.

      I have filed a rent fraud complaint with DHCD in regards to GOV2GO who was in cohorts with my landlord/property manager regarding money owed along with a remaining balance. My landlord/property manager stated that with GOV2GO they could include the late fees however tenants were not made away of this and even though GOV2GO paid my rent I was charged two late fees in MAY & JUNE by my landlord/property manager totaling the amount of $462.63. GOV2GO also contacted me on 06/13/22 telling me to make changes to my application in order to match that of my landlord's/property manager and when I did it resulted in the removal of my late fees which now results in me owing a balance on top of my rent and utilities for the month of July totaling $1817. GOV2GO is also listed in my complaint for rent fraud along with my landlord/property manager.

      I filed a rental assistance application on December 8, 2021. There was absolutely no movement until January 30 when my application and my landlords application were merged together. On April 7, 2022, I received an approval and an email following stating a check was mailed out on April 12, 2022 in the amount of $2780.00. As of July 1, 2022 my landlord has yet to receive the payment. When reaching out to the agency, I am getting absolutely no where. Several promised call backs from supervisors that have not happened and several escalations... I have been provided no answers and also no payment to my landlord.

      VEC and Deval created a ghost account utilizing my identity which has resulted in me not being able to obtain Rent Relief for my landlord or my Disability claim due to Virginia Employment Commission creating this account with an in accurate address for some place I have never lived - **** ******** Ave. Apt# *** Bronx, New York, XXXXX.       I filed an application in November 2021 with Deval. I submitted every document I was asked for and waited for my application to process but I got a rejection notice without a good cause. They rejected me because they said the landlord was not the owner of my rental property. They did not give the landlord or me any chance to submit the paperwork to prove ownership. They did not make any attempts to collect any other information. This is unjustified and unfair given that I waited patiently and just to get a denial without a chance to submit anything else.

      On December 18th my tenant was approved for the rent relief program through deval. I have to be honest, my process went very smoothly up until my approval. After the 45 days allotted for the check to arrive; I was prompt in my approval email to contact someone if the check have not arrived. I started to make contact long before then because I needed to change the address on my W9. Unfortunately the wrong form was submitted because the pdfs where close in name. Once officially corrected and verified; the check was still sent to an incorrect address. Deval claim they sent it out on Jan 27th. The correction was sent Han 20th. And after finally getting a contact number, to then be told to email about any concerns, after several emails I still didn't get a straight answer. All I wanted to know was how long will it take to reissue another check. It's insane how money of this amount was even being sent untracked in the first place. And how careless these employees were about my concerns. Yes! I'm very appreciative to have the resource to help get myself and tenant out of this predicament. However, the lack of ineffective communication has become extremely frustrating. No regards to the damage it's causing because monies have not been received. At this point I just need this check ASAP to recover from my losses.

      I applied thru Deval Rent Relief program January 2021 and had application updated and resubmitted January 2022 and was approved February 6th 2022. Payment has not been sent to my rental office.       To date mine and my landlord's application has not been completed. My documents attached show that since January neither of us has had anything done to complete it. I have been calling "Gov2Go" where we had to file thru to receive rent relief. I have heard they had to merge our accounts, to our case was escalated and even that I am on the back burner because new applications are being processed. I filed in late December asking for relief for January thru April. My landlord has filed for eviction on 15 March. I am begging for the relief payments. I do not have a court date as of today, but it can be any time. I am asking for our applications to be completed. And ODUrent to be notified of payment before I am evicted. Otherwise I am homeless.
