I paid this man close to $400 for 2 number cakes. He lied regarding the sale price. He never delivered the cake. He is. A fraud. Never sent photos of the cake, poor communication only to berate me when I attempted to pick up the cake on three different occasions since he continued to falsify the time the cake would be ready. Its all a scam. Each time I agreed on a time with him to pick up the cake, when I was on my way he would say no one is home. Social media has made it entirely too easy for low life scam artists to steal hard working peoples money. ****** ******************************* and you find that he is nothing more than a criminally inclined scoundrel. August 11 I sent a ***** payment for $100 to Cheston P******** of Hiz Catering in ****** Texas to pre-pay for a birthday cake for my kid. The cake was due to be picked up by me at the address they provided the night before the birthday party on 9/3. That night they asked if I could pick it up the next morning at 11am. At 11am on 9/4 I went to their address, knocked for 15 minutes, messaged them repeatedly asking where they were, and never found them. I messaged that they could deliver the cake by 2pm and still make the party on time. They never responded, and have not ever responded to any of my messages since the morning of the party. Sum up: they took $100 and never made the cake I ordered. I believe they may be a scam with no intention of making cakes.Initial Complaint

I ordered a cake from Hiz Cateting from a post on Facebook! Please don't believe anything that he says about his $100 cake deals. He will come with OLD REVIEWS FROM FAMILY MEMBERS! The day I was set to get my cake "He texted me like he was his mom" and claim he was in a car accident and in a coma! He spoke that over his life! I immediately went to his personal Facebook page and he was posting! So I text his business page back and of course it was him...every one text differently and the person who claimed to be his mom texted just like him! He told me to use zelle because it will be hard to get the funds back! The person claimed once he gets out of the coma he will send refunds. How can a person in a coma post on Facebook and he is still posting! He SCAMMED ME out of $100 but like I told him...he will need that plus more cause karma is definitely true! You don't play with people money!Initial Complaint

I placed an order for a cake 3 weeks in advance (11/19/2021 being the pick up date) and paid the full amount, as instructed to secure the order, up front ($145.00). The order was placed 10/27/2021 but it was decided that we would go a different route and so I canceled the order 3 days later 10/30/2021. The cancel request was sent to both his (Jamarcus M*******) social media inbox as well as the cell phone he texted me from. He responded on 11/02/2021 that he received my request to cancel and asked how I paid. I responded with my method of payment (*******) and my profile so the funds could be returned (he stated when I placed the order that in order to get a full refund I would have to cancel AT LEAST 5 days in advance). As of today 11/16/2021 I have yet to receive my funds and all messages both to his social media and cell phone have gone unanswered. I wouldn't mind waiting if he at least responded to any of my attempts to reach him with an expected refund date. The problem is that i can tell the messages were read but he won't respond or refund my money. This is very unprofessional and I just want my money back.
