Professional scammer. Takes payment only through non traceable or refundable methods such as **** or cashapp. A disgrace of a black and LGBTQ business. I purchased a cake from this scoundrel three months out and he proceeded to change the pick up time roughly 11 times in 4 days and I still never picked up the imaginary cake. He never provided pictures. His messages are full of spelling and grammatical errors, as if hes inebriated. When I asked him for other times to get it he just shot off a series of messages saying that he was busy and has a life sir you are promoting yourself as a caterer no one is begging you to do this job you advertised yourself as a caterer. Meanwhile hes simply stealing pictures off the internet and posting that he is having some arbitrary sale on ***************. When you pull up to his baking shack you will see that his neighbors have a sign saying theyve reported him to the police . Criminal intent is all this abysmal soul has. Youre better off going to Kroger bakery and ordering cake toppers from Amazon. I have filed a police report with ****** police regarding this scum bag.Review from Samantha R

I placed and order for a cake, he asked for full payment right away. So we paid over a hundred dollars up front. Day of he ghosted us and someone from his phone texted us that he was in jail. We see he is out now since he is posting on social media but he will not reply about refunding the payment! So pretty much do not buy a cake from him he is a scammer!!!Review from Nelly C

Jamarus of Hiz Catering/ Hiz Bakery loc ********************, Tx. Jamarus is taking multiple orders from individuals via social media and not providing what was being asked. Jamarus is taking on more than he can chew. He's purchasing store brought cakes and decorating them to how he see fit. Jamarus reached out a 2 hours before the cake was suppose to be picked up for pickup time change. His excuse was he got behind **************** assistants were out. He then mentioned he had a wedding to do. We we provided the time of the event, he was not willing to deliver the cake. It was basically you come get the cake or else. When asked for a refund, he said no refunds. When we received the cake, it was not what was requested. The flavor was wrong. The decor was wrong. It wasn't fresh and tasted horrible. When we tried to warn others on social media, he replied "1 monkey don't stop no show. You're just another ghetto customer..."
There are so many other reviews and individuals he have scammed.

Owner Jamarus M******* is a scammer, known on ************ for letting you order a cake, takes your deposit or full payment, then blocks you, never to be heard from again! He is rude, unprofessional and very ghetto. I ordered a cake and paid my deposit the same day as asked. Once I paid, he then messaged me saying no deposits, pay in full only although, I have messages of him saying the deposit was half the price. so I just asked for my money back. He told me I wasn't getting my money or a cake and blocked me on socials. It's really sad that he is making it harder to trust small businesses, especially SMALL BLACK BUSINESSES! Altering posting on social media about it, several people reached out, admittedly being scammed by him in some way and confessing to his terrible customer service! I will let it be known on every platform I find that this is NOT the ***** you want handling your special day! This is a desperate scammer.
