      I awarded M&M Audio/Video the bid to get my home audio/video system back up and running with a few updates. My home was renovated after a flood (pipe burst) on 5/27/2023. I agreed to a proposal from M&M via text on February 2nd, 2023. I met with **** and his brother **** on the AM of February 6th to give him a down payment of 75% of the overall *********** bill was $9,262.95 and i wrote a check # *** for $6,947.21 dated 2/5/2023. (included the purchase of a 65" **************** and Frame) **** was told by Project Manager on for my remodel 3/8/23 that he could begin work the following week. **** confirmed on that same day that "We will install next week....I have everything purchased, or we can return items and refund but that would take like a week or so."On March 14th i asked **** when he was going to install. He replied, "today if i get done with this one I'm on but if not, tomorrow for sure." He came and hung a ******** (75" NOT 65", without my approval) but did not install with speakers as planned. Also, despite the fact that he claimed "everything was purchased" he said he did not order the frame. He said and wrote that the upgrade was a GIFT (upgrade) and would not cost me anything more. On 3/16/24, he texted that he would be back on Tuesday to complete. *****, excuses, delay. April 15th was expected to finish but did happen. April 16th scheduled for 10am, no show. April 17th more excuses "Don't be nervous...We will get it done before you move in." April 18th he wrote, All will be functioning and completed by tomorrow PM Promise."April 19th - "Hey about ***** minutes away" came by and hung up tv in down guest and outdoors not connected but hung. April 20th still no sound from speakers in family room. April 26th agreed to arrive at 10 to walk thru with him - no show no communication. April 30th gave him notice that if he can't finish, give me a refund. May 9th after 3rd no show i told him I wanted my money back. NO $, NO SOUNDSYSTEM. LIAR!

      Transaction Date August 23, 2023. Please reference the uploaded Proposal I signed with M&M Audio Video for Security and ************ systems. (128NewProposal082323.pdf). Transaction Total Amount $4,453.69 (reference uploaded document (MMInvoice.pdf). When the merchant did not install the security portion of the project per the proposal, and due to continued installation cancellations and delays, I cancelled the ************ system installation. Please reference the uploaded document detailing dispute activity and communications. (MMDisputeBBB.pdf). M&M Audio and Video communicates mixed messages. He insists that he has refunded my **** account for the total amount of the transaction, $4453.69 (reference MMDisputeBBB.pdf Exhibit 1). At the same time, he told his Bank that he does not allow refunds or exchanges (reference MMDisputeBBB.pdf Exhibit 3), therefore, his bank would not issue the refund. **** has challenged M&M twice, but no funds have been issued to my account from the merchants bank (reference MMDisputeBBB.pdf Exhibit 2). M&M will not answer my calls to resolve the issue. I am willing to accept a refund for the work that was not completed at all, totaling $3188.
