TRUE INCOMPETENCE. I NEVER take the time to write reviews, but I HAD to in this case. The people who work at Peridot Mechanical aren't bad people and I don't think they are malicious, but I did not receive quality service or an adequate level of craftsmanship with their work. When you hire a professional you should not have to babysit and inspect their work. I barely have words to describe the lack of quality of work that was done. I have gone back and forth with them and given them plenty of opportunity to make things right. If you have a home warranty company that recommends they do work on your home and you have three choice, then go with a different contractor. They installed cracked fittings that leaked gallons of condensation through the wall, they DETACHED the ductwork that feeds 3/5 of the vents in the downstairs of my home leaving a 4" x 12" hole in the back of the closet unit that lets most of the air-conditioned air into our garage space (non-living space). On top of that, they didn't fix any of the issues they caused, blamed the home warranty company for ordering inadequate hardware and supplies even though they still installed it, and left the unit worse than they found it after they attempted to repair its leaks (that they created). I am not wasting my time with them any longer. I am forced to hire another contractor to reinstall everything that was installed by Peridot Mechanical.
