I have paid for a good September 2023 with a provided delivery date of mid October. I have tried to rectify and gain additional information regarding Shippment and was more than willing to wait. They have received full payment for the furniture and the company has given me the run around with no expected shipping date. I requested a refund and communication has stopped. Since purchase, they have changed names as well and each email sent they apologize and say I will have info within a few days with another excuse as to why they haven’t provided any updates. The last response received from the company was 3/7/24. I receive no outreach unless I email first. At this point they have exhausted a reasonable amount of setbacks and I’d like a full refund as it’s clear I won’t be getting the custom furniture ordered and paid for.Initial Complaint

On my screen shots you will see I ordered a custom made Dog crate that I was told would be delivered to me in January. There have been several attempts and a promise that it would have been picked up and shipped 3 weeks ago. I have asked for a picture of my completed crate and have received nothing in return. I have asked for a refund since there is no crate. There are complaints from over 50 customers who have not received their crates either. So far we have excuses of surgery, a blood clot and now the Owner M******* has attempted suicide from the stress of all of us asking for our crates. I want a refund end of story or these guys need to be shut down.Initial Complaint

I am not sure what the proper way to contact you is, so I'm utilizing every avenue. Please see message below. Thank you! I've messaged on your FB business page. My Name is T****** R**** I am the husband of S***** R****. She has reached out countless times. We entered a contract for our kennel to be built on 1-14. I made our initial payment on 1-15 as requested. I've thoroughly read the contract and have made sure everything has been followed and fulfilled as requested. I have both payment receipts and the contract on file. We have paid you in full and the lack of communication the last two days after what was setup is unacceptable. I'm in Katy Texas tonight for business. I'm going to be here the rest of the week. I need communication and follow through. I'm not sure what is going on but we have been patient and are trying to work through this but the way this is being left in the air does not work for me.. If you can't fulfill your requirements just refund my money. If you can't fulfill the delivery as you setup that is fine to and I will pick it up. Let me know what we are going to do to correct the issue and fulfill the contract on your side. I mean it can go on and on and on and on.... countless scams and no one's holding anyone accountable. Ordered a dog kennel on December 26th 2023 and payed the complete Amount of $1267.04 on January of 2024. They say they would deliver on march 4-9th of 2024. No delivery of product and they will not answer emails or phone calls about the progress of our order.Initial Complaint

I sent a $500 deposit in September 2023 for a dog kennel. I was told that the turnaround time was 4-7 weeks. December 28, 2023, I paid the remainer of the balance for them to paint and deliver the Kennel. If you call the number, no one ever answers, no one will return a phone call. I sent email after email asking for pictures to see the kennel and never received anything. They are now working under a new name. Cyrpess Creek Millworks & Design. Looking on FB and seeing that the Designs by Curlee web site was no longer active, I did see where someone posted that they had been scammed out of money with other people saying the same thing. I reached out in an email to explain to Mr Curlee what I saw, and he finally responded and said that he was not a scam, and he would deliver my Kennel on 2-28 which is exactly 60 days since my last payment. (I only have 60 days to dispute a charge) He still would not send any pictures for me to see the completed kennel. I then filed fraud charges on CC against him. He responded that if I would cancel the dispute, he would deliver, still with no proof that the kennel was even completed. I did try to cancel the dispute, but the bank actually advised against it since the 60 days was the day of delivery and I was not 100% positive that he would actually deliver it. I could not get my $500 deposit back because it had been longer than 60 days, He will not refund my $500 deposit because he says it is completed but he will never confirm it.Initial Complaint

I ordered a kennel from Designs by Curlee July 30th, 2023 via facebook messenger- a 7.5ft kennel with 6 wheels and delivery for a total of $1035. They required a 50% deposit, which I paid via Z**** on July30th. they confirmed via facebook messenger that they received my deposit of $517.50 and would send a receipt. When I first approached them about a kennel in June, it was a 1 month turn around for a kennel. It is now February and I have not received an invoice for my original deposit, despite asking multiple times for one. I have never received a picture of the kennel, despite asking multiple times and being told they send one after it is built prior to painting. I have been reaching out since ordering asking for updates on delivery just to either have no reply at all or told they are working and haven't gone anywhere. In December, I messaged them asking for a refund and then just kept messaging reaching out again. I eventually reached out via email, which did get a reply. After asking for a refund again, I was told for the very first time they don't offer refunds- despite never once being told that, it was not posted on their facebook anywhere, and I still have no receipt or invoice stating no refund. The only thing they offered was to give me a free $100 dog bed. I did ask if they would accept my offer for them removing the cost of the free dog bed and giving free delivery for the terrible customer service, no replies for weeks to months, extremely long wait, and the fact they have still never sent a receipt or picture of kennel I also said I did not wish to give them more money without kennel in hand and would give cash or pay online after delivered but was told that it would not be leaving their store without full payment. They have now changed their store name from designs by curlee to cypress creek millwork, have refused to answer any phone calls and not responding to my emails. At this point, I am still asking for my refund. I do not want the kennel.Initial Complaint

In August 2023 my husband orders 2 custom stacking kennels from Designs by Curlee LLC. He was quoted a 6 week turn around time. We have reached out for updated many times and have been given excuse after excuse. It has been 26 weeks since we ordered and we are no closer to getting our product. I feel that I have been scammed by this business. I would like EITHER 1. the product to be finished and delivery in a timely manner OR 2. my money refunded.Initial Complaint

I contacted them in Sept of 2023 about a dog kennel. They agreed to build one for me for $1250.00. They said the lead time was 3-6 weeks after they got my deposit. I paid the deposit on 9/22. It has been 17 weeks and I can not get any update on my order. I have emailed them, I have sent messages in ******** ********* and i have tried to call them. They were responding at first asking me to be patient but I haven't got a response back in almost 2 months now. I have included copies of my invoice, email thread and ******** ********* thread. Invoice #1179 Date of transaction 09/25/2023 Amount of money paid $2559.55 total $1635 for kennel $850 for shipping Product ordered is a 9.5ft kennel by 30” deep by 40” tall Drawers Split into 3 sections w/removable dividers Hinged doors White base/Mocha top Added feet-color mocha Black hardware 3-6weeks on build time Shipping orders though they said they typically build faster Shipping is typically 7-10 business days but can’t guarantee that because it is a freight carrier. She told me she thought pick-up is middle of Oct.which would mean it should be to me by end of Oct.She said she would work on getting my shipping booked that week and send the actual estimated pick-up date. On Oct.5th I asked whether she had received an estimated pick-up date and she answered yes, but she was still waiting on tracking information and they told her pick-up would be the week of Oct.23rd-27th. 3 weeks later on the 25th I messaged no response till next day and she said she couldn’t get back right away because sick kid and she would get back with me tomorrow with an answer. Never heard back.Nov. 2nd and 3rd asked again for a date. They answered with “we are looking at getting shipping set for the week of the 20th but just have to narrow down a day. Messaged again on the 10th and 12th asking whether they had the date and if the kennel was even done being built. Still have not received this information and every time I ask for the date they give me excuses. They would not answer any messages from me, then when they finally answered back on Nov.13th they said they were flying back from Oregon that morning and would have an update for me the next day. No reply. This has been going back and forth. Always some sort of excuse-sickness, out of town, he says freight company doesn’t give exact date of pickup only window. The I get pic and is not compete w/ wrong color top. Nov.28th he says I will have before Christmas.Kept messaging w/nothing back. Now Jan.15say cant get to shop, (weather)
