      I do not recommend this company! They did an unsatisfactory carpenter job which should have an easy repair! It was over priced! I paid approx.$625& was treated rudely & the repairman DIDN'T follow thru with repair! I'm a Senior Citizen & feel I was taken advantage of as far as being truthful communication by this company. What should have been a simple repair costs me a LOT & has been very upsetting. The manager who said he was the owner even chuckled when we hung up. He didn't take me serious at all.

      Thank you for your frank review Ms. P and accept our apologies for this situation. From the beginning, on October 25th, we received 3 photos from Ms. P displaying the corner of her soffit that she needed to be repaired. On October 27th the estimate was created and sent. Since the beginning, Ms. P reiterated that she needed to stay within budget. We applied all possible discounts/coupons (10% off) to help her in the process. Upon completion, on November 3rd, Ms. P signed off three times for the completion of her project acknowledging her satisfaction with the outcome. That same evening, Ms. P reached out to the office by text message stating that (William was very nice & knowledgeable) and notified us about her dissatisfaction with the work. On Monday the 6th, we reached out and booked a follow-up appointment for Wednesday the 8th. Upon arrival, we tried explaining to Ms. P what was included in her estimate. The situation rapidly escalated and Ms. P refused to accept our explanations. She requested us to repair the full extension of her soffit for free. The office manager offered to have a technician come back, at no cost to her, to seal, sand, and repaint the wood grains of her old soffit; but she refused. In addition to that offer, we also offered to complete the additional extension of her old soffit at a discounted rate, with the materials we previously provided. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to reach an agreement since all our resolution efforts were continuously refused. At this point, both of our offers still stand and we would like to help her.

      I stand by my original comments. I couldn't see/view the finished work very clearly because it was sunny, but after I took pictures & looked close up, I could see it was a bad job! I originally sent photos of whole area including the worse part. When William came back for follow up he showed up with a very negative attitude & said "I told you I would have to come back another day to do the rest" & I said No! you did not, & he got angry & said he would NEVER come back. He NEVER told me that. I said I had proof on my ring camera he didn't seal the wood at end of soffit, only painted, he got really mad & left! When I talked to Nelson,owner? he said he would have someone come out to replace the rest of the soffit but he had to charge for labor & never mentioned a discounted cost! It says on invoice if they see more rotten in that area they're supposed to inform customer. Other people have viewed pictures & said it was a bad job. Now, the company said they would come back & would seal the wood area & paint the small area! I've already paid over $600, treated badly & rudely & got a bad repair job! The materials mentioned were purchased by me! Nelson wouldn't tell me cost of paint but he said the wood costs $30 yet I paid $130 for materials. I provided the paint formula.

      Conclusion: On 11/28 we sent our senior technician back to assess the situation. After further explanations to Ms. P, the area in discussion is not part of the original estimate and it has to be addressed as a new project despite being part of the same section. Eventually, the company decided to proceed with repairs at no charge to Ms. P. - Upon completion, our technician called the office to inform Ms. P was requesting even more work. The technician reiterated there would be a new cost associated with it and left the site.

      The technician that came back to observe the job & after he looked at it, he called his office & told me they would fix the repair correctly at no charge. He did this & did a good job. Not sure what the company was talking about me wanting additional work? It looks fine now. I requested he put 2 coats of paint but that should have been the normal procedure. The repairman they sent was much nicer & knowledgeable.

      We hired Mr. Handyman of Cinco Ranch and South Katy to mount 3 TV’s and install a peephole in our front door. We hired them because they are an Accredited Business with the Houston BBB. They sent a technician named Lamont who was prompt and prepared. In fact, he even offered to come early if that was convenient for us. Lamont listened to us and made suggestions based on what we wanted, which made us feel confident in the company. He worked efficiently which kept our bill down to a very reasonable total. Mr. Handyman of Cinco Ranch and South Katy will be our go-to company for home projects and repairs.
