I want to file a complaint against Auto Nation Ford Collision Center located at 2**** **** **** ***** ** *****. They have had my 2022 Ford Bronco Big Bend since the morning of October 24th and still have not been able to repair my vehicle. I have been given the run around for weeks now and I personally think it is because I am * ******** *****. It seems as though they do not care enough to give me the quality of work any customer deserves. My number one concern since the day I had the car towed in was safety, mine and that of others because someone could have been seriously hurt when the front passenger wheel popped off as I was driving. As of today December 5th, I called trying to get an update on my cars status and I was transferred to someone who said they were Jimmy the Collisions Director. He told me that all studs and hubs needed to be replaced because it was a major safety issue that they were not the right size for the tires on the car. He then proceeded to say it was obvious looking at it that those pieces were the wrong size. I told him I did not understand how it was "obvious" as he stated multiple times since I had been asking for over a month and was repeatedly told "we may never really know what went wrong". So as of today he said he will look into a possible solution as they still did not have one. I think if a collisions director can tell me the problem was "obvious" I should not have had to be the one to call weeks later still looking for more answers to be told this. I had the car brought to them initially to do the repairs expecting that Ford certified experts would be able to give me timely answers and quality work but at this point have not gotten either of those things.

I, ***** ******* purchased brand new vehicle Ford F-250 Lariat 2022 in dealership AutoNation Ford Katy at the address 20777 Katy Freeway, Katy, TX 77450 on the October 15th 2022. The sale price was $98,119. After filling up the ownership documents and returning to FL with a new vehicle, I discovered that roof of the truck was damaged, it has deep scratches and paint damages. 6 days in a row I've been trying to get in contact with dealership. Sales person- Amir, managers, including general manager- Ryan don't want to get in contact with me, ignoring my calls, texts, voicemails. I'll highly appreciate if you could help me to resolve this issue. I want the dealership to admit that they knew about the damages and to repair the damages at no cost to me.

We have two issues. On our purchase of a new vehicle the finance department added a $930 deposit on our lease. We have never had this before and asked for it to be removed. The finance guy, Dustin, said he would remove the charge from our account, but it may take a statement or two. It's now over three months later and the charge hasn't been removed and they will not answer emails or calls. Our second issue is that when we purchase our current vehicle off of the lease. The finance guy, Dustin, added a $499.99 charge without our knowledge. When we tried to get the overpayment back we were denied. We would like a refund of both of these items.

On Oct 31 someone ran into the side of my car and USAA highly suggested I bring my car to AutoNation - 20777 Katy Freeway. They fixed the outside but broke other items in my car. The back truck latch was working when they took my car to get fixed and now it is not working; the glove compartment was working, opening and closing and now that does work. The cd changer was working and now it only clicks. They refuse to take responsibility for it. These parts were working before Autonation took possession. I want the back truck latch fixed and want the glove compartment latch fixed and the cd changer to stop clicking.

I bought a vehicle from Autonation Ford in Katy on July 17, 2021. An extended warranty was sold to me by finance agent Vincent , I was told the warranty covered everything. Now that the vehicle is needing to use the warranty for damages on it the warranty from Autonation is not covering what it was supposed to be covered. I called the sales manager and they advise that they had no information that the warranty doesnt cover most item, they were told that it actually did. I dont know what else to do, the dealer said they were going to help and clarify the situation but they have not done anything about it.

I purchased a new truck from AutoNation Katy, I have always purchased the extend warranty from Ford directly that covers the vehicle up to 100K miles. When I inquired about this at time of purchase, i was informed I could do the AutoNation comparable warranty for roughly 500 less for the exact same coverage. I just experienced a death wobble and needing to replace components and was informed one of the steering assembly components was not covered under the plan and the plan I was sold was "Gold" and not "Platinum". This was never offered or even discussed. I recommend that anyone seeking an extended warranty stay with Ford direct. This is based on my other truck that has the Ford ESP warranty and never experienced this. I also have failed cab dampers on this vehicle as I did on the other Truck, ESP covered. Frankly, if this was accurately explained at purchase, I would have paid the additional $500 since I financed over 5 years. I am seeking for AutoNation to offer the "Platinum" plan for the remaining period which is roughly 18K miles at a prorated fee which I would be happy to pay.

I purchased a truck from this dealership in September, knowing it was a used truck I purchased the extended warranty. I specifically asked the finance guy if the warranty would be voided because the truck had wheels and a lift kit and he told me no that it wouldn’t matter. A month and a half later the transmission went out and the extended warranty denied the claim because of the lift and wheels. I’ve reached out to this dealership several times and they have not been helpful at all. I’ve purchased other vehicles from them in the past and have had good luck. I just want to get this resolved. Now im facing 6600 for a transmission replacement.

I took my vehicle to Auto Nation Collision Center Katy on Sept. 20, 2021. My contact person was Mark C********* Mark told me he would call me when my vehicle was ready. I rented a vehicle with Enterprise, which was in the same building. The vehicle was rented under my daughter's name as she is a driver on my insurance policy. On Oct. 6, 2021, Mark called me and informed me that my vehicle had been ready since Sept. 30, 2021 and that he had been out of the office with Covid and that someone was supposed to call me and let me know. I told him that no one called me. The first time I was aware that my vehicle was ready, was that day when he called. As a result, I incurred additional unnecessary rental charges because my insurance had only approved 12 days of rental. If someone had called me when the vehicle was ready on Sept. 30th, I would have picked up my vehicle that day and returned the rental vehicle that same day and I would have not been charged for an additional 6 days full price rental fees. Their negligence in contacting me on Sept. 30th caused me additional rental fees, which I am requesting they reimburse me due to their failure to contact me. I left Mark a voicemail on or about Oct. 8th asking him to call me back to discuss reimbursement. I never received a call back from him. On Oct. 13, 20 and 27th, I email him requesting reimbursement of the additional rental charges and I sent him a copy of the Enterprise receipt showing the additional charges. As of today, I still have not received any type of response from him.

I purchased a " certified used car" from Auto Nation Ford Katy. This car came with a dealership limited warranty. During the finance process, the finance guy kept trying to sell me an extended warranty, which I declined. During the finance process, the finance guy also kept trying to get me to use the dealership financing ( I had my own financing deal). After spending 4 hours in the dealership, my purchase was completed. When I got home, I realized I was not given a copy of the warranty that came with my car! This is when my problem began. The sales manager told me to contact my finance person. My person told me he's "taking some time off, and is not in the office". I'm getting the run around about a warranty that came with my vehicle purchase. Not a good sign.

Purchased 2018 Silverado with dealership and extended warranty on 06/23/2021 car broke down right outside the dealership first time taking it off the lot. Vehicle sold with hidden problems. Vehicle was taken back for service, they claimed the problem was fixed and was given back, once again same problem, transmission overheating. Truck taken into service for second time, dealership agreed to cover repairs under the dealership warranty, however truck still had the same problem transmission overheating. Truck taken back to service for third time, transmission was replaced, extended warranty was able to cover partial of the repairs, however dealership was denying the rest of the cost of repairs which were supposed to be covered by dealership warranty. Dealerships reasoning as to why they wouldn't cover was because they had already covered the repairs one time and would not cover it a second time. The repairs they were denying were under the dealership warranty. Fraudulent business practice

Autonation Ford Katy paid for additional repairs at an outside repair facility at the clients request.  We cannot be responsible for the work done by an outside party.

      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 15842328, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.

Financial manager Aamir Sheikh assured the vehicle could be serviced at any Chevrolet Dealerships although their would be a deductible. We live 5 hours away, it is not possible to drive the vehicle sold with hidden problems  to the dealership as it overheats and is not drivable. This is the first time we have been told they are not responsible for outside repairs. Although they have paid for outside repairs at a Chevrolet dealership. Dealership throughout this whole time has used the fact that we live 5 hours away to avoid us. Heavy lack of communication, have to hunt them down to answer the phone.

The vehicle can be serviced at any Chevrolet dealership.  This is true. Any dealership can file a claim on your extended warranty or service the vehicle.
