Technician arrived and explains without ever accessing the problem that he believes it's the soap used, after explained that the dishwasher has been showing same error code before brand of soap. Then he looked at dishwasher. After looking at and taking bottom cover off he pushed buttons on it and read directions on phone. He went outside to make a call and came back saying he was going to reset error codes and to try it and see if it works. Call back if doesn't. He didn't even try himself. He asked for payment and advised If it's doesn't we will need to replace computer for ******. We explained that computer was replaced earlier in year and problem came back. He didn't know how to respond, saying he doesn't know much about newer dishwashers so he said he would have to look into. After he left my wife ran dishwasher like he advised. It did not complete cycle and now won't turn on unless you open door fully, start and shut door. And stops mid cycle and shuts off with no lites errors etc... we called them back and they set a point mentioning for 2 days later. I called wanting to speak with owner they ad ised he was working and they would relay message. We wrote them a check for a 85 diagnose fee without any diagnosis done. I basically paid 85 dollars for them to break my dishwasher. The company is not reputable in my opinion and others should be awareBusiness response

On that particular dishwasher we have seen many times of either its a soap issue or sometimes the computer just needs to be reset. On all modern appliances made in the last 5 years the controls are very sensitive. We have repaired many issues with these modern appliances by resetting the control systems also we have seen many times depending on what type of soap you are using that can cause issues as well. The particular soap that was used we have seen problems with causing to many suds and that can cause the unit to shut down or not wash correctly.
During our diagnostics we try to eliminate some possibilities that could possibly be the issue so we don't put on unnecessary parts and charge you money that is not necessary.
We did receive a service call visit of $85 on the day of the visit. We later talked to the customer and explained. We also agreed with the customer that we would refund his $85 service call that he paid.
We have refunded customer $85 service visit.
We apologize for the service and not meeting standards thank you for your feedback.
