Robb Williamson Shoe & Boot Repair and Dry Cleaning Response
02/22/2024
************************* has been barred from **** Williamson Boot and Shoe Repair.
A woman named **************** was told she would be notified via text message when her item was available for pickup.
Twice she arrived to pick up her item and twice she was politely asked to wait for her text. We understand the frustration some people feel about how busy we are and we sympathize. We discussed with her her situation. We politely but firmly explained to her that all our customers want their items quickly but the line is the line and I work ******************************************************************************************************************** line fee which was declined.
She informed us she was leaving town and we offered to arrange shipping upon completion and she agreed. That is the epitome of excellent customer service.
****** dropped off his shoes and stated he was here to pick up her item and started to argue with Mrs.Williamson about waiting for notification of completion to retrieve item stating that was not good enough for him and he wanted an exact date.
As he bullied her and she became exasperated she asked me to deal with him personally. I believe that was what ****** wanted all along.
I dont think ****** likes dealing with females.
I have indeed dealt with ****** for many years and was unaware of the connection to these two Taylors.
He told me our system was unacceptable to him as he was a good long standing customer and expected different treatment based on his standing as a fellow business owner and his many years of patronage.
I asked him what exactly he wanted.
He wanted a precise date of completion. Those boots were about an hour away from completion. I asked when he wanted them. He replied a week from Friday. I agreed. Again great customer service.
He was mollified feeling he had gotten his way.
I finished the boots and his shoes an hour later and placed them in the done shelves.
He waited and extra week to claim them.
When he came in to claim them I also gave him a pair of his shoe that I completed at the same time as his boots. He was surprised and delighted that his were complete as well as hers.
He stated that was the service he expected going forward doing business together.
It was with great delight and indeed I relished telling him I was tired of his ********. The glee I felt watching his head turn from its usual well groomed potato to a red tomato was delightful. Watching that tomato turn purple and rot on his neck as I told him that I would no longer work for him and hoped he found a cobbler faster and cheaper or at least more pliable to will was was as beautiful as a sunset.
It took several minutes to clean the spittle off my front counter(fortunately none of that reached me) after his toddler temper fit.
As he was enraged and elderly I offered to ****** him out. Again an example of superb customer service.
He declined my offer.
Tell him hes still barred from entering any of my establishments.
