There is a leak in my roof which caused damage to my walls in my home. The company installed the roof in 2020 and is under warranty. Quick roofing accepted responsibility and informed me that the would conduct all repairs. Since the I have not been able to get them to respond to my emails wanting to know when this will be conducted and what it will detail. In the mean time I had a separate company inspect the roof and they pointed out the the roof was improperly installed. I have provided all documentation to the company, and can provide this to you also

We have inspected the property at *****************************************************************   The roof is not leaking. The leak is coming from the siding.  When Quick Roofing installed the roof on 03/11/20 the siding was wood as seen in the attached photo.   After we roofed the house the homeowner had vinyl siding installed.    The installer did not remove the original siding, they did an overlay which compromised the valley.  At that time the vinyl siding installer added foam installation and the they had to make a metal corner piece for the foam and the siding installer cut the flashing pan to install the metal corner. This in turned caused the leak.  Quick Roofing is not responsible for the damage caused by the siding installer.    We have already come out and repaired the flashing that was cut by the siding installer.  Quick Roofing is not responsible for the interior damaged that was caused as we did not install the siding that caused the leak.  The siding installer cut to pan to install the siding.

      Thank you,

I am rejecting this response because:

The siding installed is specifically made to go over existing siding.

I had a third part inspect my roof and  in their report (which I provided in my original complaint) indicated  areas where I had improperly installed shingles which has caused damage to the roof and decking above the valley where the leak they are referring to was located. At the time they inspected my roof Quick Rook acknowledged this area and stated that they would repair it which they did not do.  However they refused to give me any details regarding what this would detail.

As for the area referenced by the company as being where the leak originated their contractor did not have the supplies to repair it and it was repaired by the siding installer who provided the material. At the time Quick Roof accepted responsibility for the damage to my home walls. However apparently they are no longer willing to do this.

Are they going to repair the decking and shingles that were pointed out in the inspection report I provided.

      Regards,

This business is quick to take money, but slow to make warranty repairs. The office staff (****** and *******) will give you the run around, continuously reschedule appointments because they don't show up or more likely over book. Then eventually tell you that you're priority status, give you an ALL DAY window of arrival, and then not show up AGAIN. Do yourself a favor and find a better business to do your roof. Now I need them to come and make the warranty repairs as it's been WEEKS trying to get them to keep an appointment that was scheduled.

I was given a written signed proposal for a roof on 2/14/2023. Quick roofing did not start for another 2 months, at which point they got 75 percent done. It is now 4 months later and still not finished . I have called repeatedly , left messages, reached out to *********** which he hasnt responded either. I looked up their *************** office the other day and it says permanently closed, all phone calls get redirected to the offices in ***** . It is the middle of hurricane season and I still have an unfinished roof with mo answers.

We have been waiting on production of metal from the manufacturer.   The shed roof is left to be done and the material should arrive for that with in the week.

There seems to be a simple misunderstanding of the work agreement. The agreement also includes "all work performed prior" to main construction starts. The only reason the tarping would need to be paid apart from the insurance proceeds would be if you decided to cancel the agreement outside of the three-day cancelation policy and/or after work has already been performed. We would gladly have one of our managers meet with you to discuss the details of the agreement and find a resolution. Our team is committed to the highest level of service to our valued customers.

I discovered a leak in my roof. My roof had been replaced by Quick Roofing. It had not even been two years since they replaced it. The warranty was still in effect. I contacted Quick Roofing on 3 separate occasions by phone, and sent an email regarding the leak. The leak had caused severe water damage in a bedroom below it, and the ceiling was about to cave in. I stressed the urgency of the situation, each time, when I spoke with a representative. I was told someone would get back with me as soon as possible. They never once reached back out. I had to hire a new roofing company. When the new company came out, they discovered the leak was due to installation errorwhich would have been covered under their warranty because it was within the 2 year period. Their work caused the leak, and they had zero interest or intentions of making it right, which caused me to have to pay out of pocket for a new company to fix their mistake. I would never recommend this company. If they have done this to me, how many other people are they taking advantage of. It isnt right.

We are trying to reach this customer to discuss.  We have left three messages with no return calls.  We will have to go by the house to try to talk to the homeowner.

I initially spoke with ******************* who stop by my house offering his service. He did an inspection and came back with a quote which he came back to my house to review. During the explanation, I explain again and said it is important that we get a small elevation because the water stays in the flat part, and we dont want that anymore and he said that would be an easy process and he can get that done. Based on this conversation I proceed to hire them to fix my roof. Before they started the process I have texted Zach to make sure that he still his employees about the elevation for the flat portion which you can see in the text message on November 17, and also again on the next day of November 18 to make sure he explained to his employees about the elevation for the roof, which he replied yes sir we arent flat section till tomorrow and Ill make sure they know the next day when I ask his employees they mention that Zach never told them about the elevation not even before the beginning of the job they were never aware of this. After the next **************** texted me that to get an elevation in the flat portion it will cost $12k more which he never mentions at the beginning before we signed the contract. Not only did I mention to him this request multiple times he waited till the job was toward the end to force me to either pay the extra $12k or just continue with my roof flat, which he also said via text that since they were using upgraded materials, but I also wouldnt have any issues. Because I have already been lied to multiple times by him and I cant afford the extra payment that was never discussed I allow them to finish the roof as I didnt want to deal anymore with a person that does business by misrepresentation, lies, and manipulation. After the project was finished there was rain the day of thanksgiving and a big leak from the ceiling flooded my bathroom on the second floor which wet the sheetrock for the bathroom and room, as well as the wood thats the underl

Our correspondence shows that the request to add pitch/slope to the roof was brought into the conversation after the contract was signed and install scheduled. When ******************** requested information on pitching the roof, our representative told him he would need to look into the options. Once we received the material proposals back from supply, we provided ******************** the additional cost amount. It was more than ******************** wanted to spend and he requested that we move forward with the installation as agreed to in the contract documents. Our representative was onsite all three days of the installation and stayed in constant communication with ********************. ******************* was in good spirits the day we provided the additional cost to add the pitch/slope to the roof and commented that everything looked good. There was a leak around a roof penetration that was taken care of by one of our trained Warranty Technicians as soon as we were notified. To our knowledge, there has not been any other issues and the roofing system is performing as guaranteed. On a flat roof, it can take more time for the water to completely dissipate. We are willing to discuss possible solutions that could assist in water dissipation.

I am rejecting this response because: thats not true the slope was requested before and your sales representative mention he will do it, which he never said it will be extra as I quoted he said it an easy fix, clearly he lie, also you guys never send somebody on site right away to fix damages you took over a month to fix a leak and then 1 month and a *** to fix Sheetrock that was damage, also you never fix the whole damage area only parts and also still damage in the bathroom that was never fix and you guys arent been responsible for it saying is not your fault when the leak was your fault. Your company nothing but lies and unprofessionalism.
