Hail **************** Claim that has taken over a year to be repaired beginning May of 2021. The job is still not finished as of today. Total money received from the insurance company was $77,434.80. All money has been paid except $5,747.35. Contractor *******************************, walked away without completion of approximately $15,000 worth of work he was paid for as well as over $10,000 worth of damage to a cedar porch and exterior and interior paint that needs to be redone. Attached is the contract, which proves he committed insurance fraud as well as fraud against me, but it also clearly shows he in in breach of contract. Examples include approximately $15,000 worth of line items on the attached Insurance Adjusters Worksheet, listed in his contract. The items that were not done are highlighted in this adjuster's worksheet. ******* attempted several times to convince me that he had done work he had not done such as the windows that were not replaced, which was an attempt to defraud me. The exterior painting of the house was not done to satisfaction nor was the interior painting of the ceiling. It looks as though a child did the paint work. Furthermore, I have text messages from the night before making sure he knew to naturally stain the cedar porch, he confirms in which they stained my cedar porch causing irreversible damage to $10,000 worth of cedar the very next morning. Furthermore, besides completely refusing to complete the job, or resolve these issues, he is currently threatening me with legal action. Other examples include a final invoice where he states to the mortgage company and to me that he is owed money on buildings, mailbox, gates and gate openers, a doghouse etc. that is absolutely not done. He sat on one draw of $30,000 for nearly 4 months while he worked on bed and breakfast that he personally was building on his own property and then claimed inflation cost me value of my money. Bottom line, a few month job to over a year. Need more room for complaint.
