    I requested a service call around mid June for my GE refrigerator because our icemaker was not working properly. The appointment was scheduled about two/three weeks later. When the tech - ****** - arrived that day, I explained to him the problem. He did a fairly quick assessment and said a particular part was needed, he said I would get a call to ok pricing and they would order. Not true, he went back and told ***** that I had ok'd the part and they had already ordered it (I found that out after I reached out to them as I had not received a call). Fast forward, the part comes in and he returns to fix the fridge, he opens the freezer and replaces the part and tell me it will take a day or two for the appliance to function fully and for me to wait 24hrs and turn on icemaker. We wait the time, both fridge and freezer are not working now in addition to icemaker. I call back express the urgency for someone to come out because we are losing all our food since the fridge is not working, the earliest appt they have is a few days later. When ****** arrives again, he opens the freezer and immediately apologizes, twice, it was "my fault", he said he did not realize something had fell and the fan had not turned back on. Fast forward I call and speak with management, they state they will refund the fees, which is just a reimbursement for the food we lost and send ****** back out. The next tech that came, determined the fridge may need some type of board, when he called and spoke with ****, I heard him say "we gave her a refund, she is going to have to call GE". So they are REFUSING to rectify a situation their tech created. My refrigerator and ******* both worked when he came, the only problem we had was with the icemaker. I called and spoke with **** and he was dismissive and rude and I informed him then I felt their actions were retaliatory because they had to reimburse me for food their tech caused us to lose. I am beginning to feel it is something more.
