On 21 December I made a reservation through Priceline for two nights at a pet friendly hotel. I paid up-front to priceline $112.96 for the reservation. I paid $35 for a lyft to get to the hotel only to be told to wait by the lady who answered the bell, because she didn't speak English. After waiting approximately 10 minutes someone else arrived and told me that they couldn't honor the reservation. They proceeded to tell me that my money would be refunded. I called priceline several times while standing in the 30 degree weather only to have they tell me they couldn't reach the hotel, which the hotel showed me they had not received any call, and when I called priceline again they refused to take the number to the hotel and hung up on me after placing me on hold to talk to some remote customer service line. I've contacted Priceline again, since that is who the reservation was made through, and have now been informed that the hotel, through whatever customer service line they are calling, won't refund the reservation. I paid for a service that was refused to be rendered, I didn't cancel, they refused service. I want my reservation refunded. Then after they refused me service I had to pay for another $33 lyft ride back to where I had been. So I paid $180 at Christmas time for nothing, definitely not a warm night in a comfortable bed.
