I entered a contract in January/February 2023 with Newton general contractors (******* Newton) to have them put in a metal building 40x40x12. The agreement was to do the concrete and building. I was to pay 35% up front then a payment after cement and a last payment after completion. I paid the initial and got scheduled. A couple months later they came and did the cement and told me the end of may my building would go up. I paid the second payment after concrete and waited for the building. About 1 weeks before it was to go up I got a call and messages from hunter halter asking if they could push back my building to end of June due to issues with a build in ******* that needed done so I agreed as long as it was before July. I never hear back so I contact hunter the last week of June and ** told he no longer works there and I would need to contact *******. I contact ******* and ** told mid July it will go up so I wait. I dont hear back so I contact him July 16 again and he says he waiting on steel. He then informs me on July 20 he ordered steel from another supplier and to get with him the following Monday to set up a schedule. I contact him and he says he will have schedule all set up tomorrow (Tuesday July 25). The next day he informs me it will be mid to end of august. I contact him august 11 to see what its looking like and dont hear back until august 16 and he informs me he will get with his erector ***** and let me know Friday august 18 what the start date will be. I dont hear from him so I contact him Monday august 21 to see what the word is and he says hes just waiting on a set schedule from ***** so I wait. I contact him again Friday august 25 as I havent heard back. He answers and says he will call ***** and get the schedule and let me know. Since that date he has ignored all messages and phone calls and it is now September 14,2023. I have paid $33,000 to this company and Ill Ive gotten is a cement pad that cost maybe $8,000 on the high end most likely $6,000
