****** was contracted to replace my lawn and was paid upfront. She continued to promise to 'be there on Monday' and after 6 months will no longer return my calls and has disconnected her phone. She scraped my lawn up and took payment for new sod but never returned. Now my lawn is the neighborhood cat litter box, with a few clovers thrown in for good measure.Initial Complaint

I wrote checks on 13 May 2022 for *****, 19 May 2022 for *****, 22 May 2022 for *****, 3 June 2022 for ****, and 5 June 2022 for 369.On ***** May 2022 we had a heavy downpour so we had standing water on our roof because the contractor put on the wrong protection and we had to eat another 12k for our laundry room, refrigerator/freezer room, workshop, and patio.I fired *********************************** and *************************** because I found out they hadn't even ordered the bond yet - they were already working on my house.About 11 June 2022 I hired *****************************, LLC instead.I have not been paid back any funds at all. I would like my funds paid back to me - I gave her ample time to do so.She took advantage of a 65 y.o. woman with a brain tumor.Initial Complaint

I hired *********************************** who now calls her business PKM Roofing, to replace my roof. She claimed to be insured, licensed, and texas windstorm association approved/she could do my roof to their specifications and I would get a windstorm certificate. I signed a contract on 6/24/22 and paid her a total of ********* She kept adding on fees and would not proceed until paid, her first invoice was for ******** which she just kept adding on and at a little over ******, I fired here. she claimed I could not shop around or have anyone else work on my building because I was bound to her by my contract. she left my roof exposed for three days, (decking only, not covered with tarps). On the third day a thunderstorm came in and she had only covered half my structure. The inside has been destroyed by water damage. She said that she isint liable for "acts of god," she then said she would replace my ceiling only. She replaced about 100 square feet of ceiling but it was done incorrectly. She then removed one side of decking on my roof after I had told her not to. She then stated she needed to do that so all my rafters could be replaced. After this incident, I went to the city inspector and was told she NEVER pulled a building permit to do the work. I paid for a permit and was given an invoice that it was paid. I then went to the justice of the peace in my area and he informed me that she is liable for damages and to demand my materials I had already paid her for. I have paid receipts from her. She refused to give me my materials until i paid for all my rafters to be replaced and plans to be drawn up by her engineer. The judge told me to let her know in writing she was released from her contract and fired. I fired her the same day 7/22/22. I have then since hired a new roofing company.
