Referred by a friend. ******************* came out 7/25/23 and gave us an estimate of $495 to remove and haul off several trees. We agreed, and his crew of 4 did the job very well several days later. At that time I asked **** how much to "raise the canopy" in our front and back yard and he said it would take a full day for his crew and would be $1800. We said OK. He brought one worker 9/22/23 (not a crew) who worked for only 5 hours and said they would be back to do the backyard. We paid him $1950 for the entire job, assuming since a friend referred him he was honest. We had an appt. for 9/28 (and we made it clear he must call ahead because our gate is closed unless we're expecting someone) but he never showed, and when we called he claimed they came out, but when the gate was closed, they went home. But he'd be out the following Monday bright and early. Never saw him again, and he won't return phone calls. Doubt we'll get any reimbursement, but want others to know DO NOT USE THIS GUY !!!!!Customer response

I have heard from the Trees *** owner's granddaughter who apologized for the business not completing the job for which I paid or answering the phone for
over a month. She said she didn't know why the owner wouldn't communicate,
but that he was just over-booked. (And apparently unable to make a 60 second
phone call).
Because I wanted the entire job done, I hired a different company to finish it
and essentially paid double what it should have cost.
Clearly, I will never see a ***** of what I paid Trees ***. for the job they never even
started, but I shall certainly tell everyone I know to steer clear of this business. Is
there a way to keep my original complaint on your website along with this update?
