Tello Concrete Services LLC and I had an additional agreement to start this front porch and our 1st floor epoxy-stained concrete to include removal of all furniture and put everything back inside the way it was before demo for $7,500.00. We gave them $3k up front to start the job. They took 3 days to get the demo part done then they asked us to leave during the epoxy application for 7 days. So, we spent 2k for an Airbnb only to get back into the house on 10/20/21 with an incomplete job. We were told the floor needed to be buffed out once more then a sealant would need to be applied. We had concern because we couldn't leave the house again with our pets because it was F1 ****. Little did we know, that was the last day we would see them; same day, we gave them an additional 3.5k to cover the cost of new base board and help with getting more help out to our location. They all left that same day 10/20/21, and said they would be back to install the new toilets, buffing, sealant, base boards, appliances and furniture. The coworker, *****, mentioned that we needed new toilets since there was an inch gap from the tile so we spent an additional $640.00 for 2 new toilets. We have been trying to get them to pay us back for it all since it was completely botched. Now we have to spend an additional 15K to do it correctly to include repairing the destroyed floor and have our home appliances and furniture moved back in. So, we have been forced to live on our 2nd floor with no access to a kitchen with appliances. They didn't use the right equipment so the entire house is covered with debris/dirt/dust, EVERYWHERE. We have a text dialog of all of the back in forth of all the agreements/contract and him threatening my life by saying, "as long as I can see the white of your eye".Business response

As to the complaint, There are discrepancies I completed a project for them in the backyard weeks before. They decided to take the carpet out and go with a black stain foundation which had cracks in it. They also wanted a front porch I completed that while I was there an employee was in charge of inside project he had two helpers at times. The last half of payment was short
1500.00 I did not ask them to spend money on Airbnb red roof inn or holiday in accepts dogs. I asked them if they were happy with the finished product they were happy minus baseboards and appliances that they would pay to move in. Employees didnt wand to go back because they were observing ****** banging his head and always on medication and not in their right minds. I dont judge but I do not have to put employees in danger. Mental illness is more than enough to activate the right to stop work.
I apologized to them and moved on after I saw them on video destroying finish they approved.

The contractor was to remove an existing driveway and put in a new concrete driveway. It cost $19,000. The owner ***** Tello, was not honest during our dealings and would tell me he would do something and not do it. Then he told me I was a tough customer when I kept asking when things would be done. He did not finish the job, and now I have to hire someone else to finish it which is costing me $300.00. Plus, the quality of his work was not great.Business response

In response to ****************** we removed her driveway and rebuilt it within the time frame of one week as promised. Upon signing agreement on Sunday
she was upset because I was late for picking up deposit on a Sunday. My crew was late at time s but the project was completed in a timely manner the whole project ****************** was negative even though we met deadlines.
a subcontractor tore up grass and out of my own pocket I purchased sod and placed it down. A subcontractor also recommended a process and she stated she wanted it done even though we put expansion joints so he could get another days.

I am rejecting this response because: He did not finish the job. He did not score the driveway which was part of what I paid for, and had to pay out of pocket. Then, he did not clean up his mess like a pile of driveway base material and pieces (small) of rebar which he said he would clean up on a Monday. He did not show up, as was typical, and I paid to have that material removed also. The concrete is already breaking in one area. He did not do a great job as promised. I would like at least the $300 I had to pay to get the driveway scored, and would like the $300 it cost me to have his trash removed.
