    On December 8th 2023 **** Stein dropped off 2 puppies to us. I have vet proof and confirmation at least the male was sick when he dropped them off to us. They will not release the female's vet records to my vet and they will not respond to us.The male has been on medication since we got him. The female has been off and on. Both dogs have a horrible cough that was indicated on the vet record of the male we purchased. The male also had/has giardia and had to be rushed to the emergency vet less than 6 days after we received him. The symptoms started on the 4th day we had him. Stein tried to tell us that we should had taken him to the vet within 3 days of receiving him per our contract. When he dropped the puppies off is when we saw the contract. I called our vet right after we received the dogs and set up the soonest appointment (December 13th) and immediately let Stein know that was their soonest. He said "Sounds good" but tries to use that as an excuse despite not telling us BEFORE dropping the puppies off to us.On December 8th he decided to tell us right then the male had worms at 5 weeks old and should be treated when he gets home. The vet records 4 days before dropping him off to us (December 4th) indicate he had worms. They also showed Stein denied treatment. Stein tried telling us all dogs come with worms and it's the breeders responsibility to take care of that. (Yes I have that in text).The notes on Steins vet records from December 4th show "Loose stool, liquid like. Hacky cough." which are all the symptoms our puppies were/are showing. **** agreed over a month ago to pay $1,200 if we didn't say anything publicly or go legal. He paid $700 and continues to run around with excuses or not paying on the dates he's telling us he will. We've spent over $2,000 at the vet for our dogs and think that's the MINIMUM they should be reimbursing us. We paid them $8,300.This is only after we received the dogs. Getting them and their papers were also a nightmare.

    I purchased a gorgeous Mini Schnauzer from Stein in the amount of ******* During presale we discussed that we would like to have breeding rights for which Stein does not like to do as a rule however we were given that right on the contract. At the time of purchase I was told that I would have the papers for her in a few weeks he was provided with our address. Fast forward it is now 5 months later and still nothing. I have reached out several times only to be met with hostility. I was told I could return the dog for refund if I was not happy. First of all I am happy with the dog however I have the right to request confirmation on her birth records in order to register with the *** and such. I then reached out publicly on FB to the other business partner in response to a post that he is working on papers after he saw my complaint on a Schnauzer page. He responded stating that he would be sending papers and then quickly erased my comments so as to cover his tracks. I have screen shots of all the communication which is quite unprofessional. This is very poor business practice not to mention that now I have a entire social media group that has had similar if not worse experiences with them. Their dogs are not being sold according to breeding standards and I find this to be a very upsetting business deal when the cost of the dogs are outrageous. I did express my frustration and that I would report them if I did not receive my papers for the dog and his response was " Don't threaten me" This complaint hopefully will save others from such unethical practices!!
