I think my appointment was supposed to be on July 13, 2023. I had scheduled to have a procedure done but canceled the day before. Afterward, they told me I was supposed to cancel 2 days before & arbitrarily charged me $300. I asked everyone I talked to before that & they all said the day before would be sufficient. Apparently all their employees haven't gotten the memo about this. I just wasn't sure about having it done at that time since I had other health issues to deal with. I knew they charged a fee on regular appointments if you didn't show or canceled late & wanted to be sure to avoid the fee. NEVER did anyone tell me I had to cancel 2 days before. On September 18th, I called to set up an *************** was told I had to pay the $300. She kept asking & I kept telling her no, I called the day before & not the day of the procedure to cancel. She seemed confused that I was charged for it since I did call in the day before. She said she would have someone from there contact me. I have gone to this clinic for several years & have never had a problem before. One of the employees (I was talking to an appointment scheduler, mind you) even told me the procedure would help my knee pain...my knee pain was from a torn meniscus. It required surgery to be fixed. Then they suggested I come in for pain medication for after knee surgery pain. I advised them my ortho had taken care of all that. In any case, I would like to return to the clinic, but not if they are going to charge me for this. I want that $300 balance due removed from my account. By the way, I never received any call back from my call on Sept. 18th. I am totally just getting the run-around now. They've turned into a really hard-sale business and want you to come in constantly. I can't be taking off all the time. I'm already in trouble for that at work. I'm old & have other health issues to consider. I have not paid this bill.
