Liquid Concepts LLC. (*************************), Old Town Pool and Patio (*****************************) and or its affiliates have changed its name multiple times. We purchased a pool for Liquid Concepts LLC. in the October of 2020. One of the major concerns in building the pool was drainage and specifically our backyard slopes between 4-6 feet from the rear of the backyard toward the house. Everyone knows that in building any exterior structure on a slope that water must be diverted away from the structure, in order to ensure minimal water damage to the structure. According to the engineers drawing regrading drainage the drainage was to be directed away from both the gunite wall and the retaining wall. The pool builder ignored the slope, did not grade according to the engineering drawings, and failed in installing a sufficient workable drainage system.Construction was partially completed in April of 2022 (19 months later). There have been four ongoing issues that have yet to be resolved: 1) Drainage, 2) The gunite wall on the backside of the pool leaks and ruined the tile 3) the retaining wall leaks directing water and mud into the pool. 4) Pebbletec Items 1 Drainage/ Liquid Concepts LLC and or its affiliates was to grade the property to divert water according to the engineered drawings and they did not grade the property at all or do anything to redirect water away from the pool thus causing extensive damage to the tile, excessive runoff into the pool. They later applied four box drains that did not diminish or redirect the water runoff. After recent evaluation of the applied box drainage system it was determined that it enhanced water from the drain directly to the deck and into the pool. Item 2 The gunite pool wall - The back wall of the pool is built with gunite in the pool section The gunite appears to be perforated as it leaks lime, mud, etc thru the tile causing a nasty film that cannot be removed from the tile. A result of poor to no existent drainage Item 3 The retaining wall is built on both ends of the pool and is made out of cinder blocks. The retaining wall leaks directing water and mud into the pool, leaving stains on the deck and walls.Item 4 - The pebbletec application was pour craftsmanship and has yellow streaks in the application. We have been complaining since it was first applied asking for it to be reapplied. That was a year ago. We decided to wait until after the summer of 2022 before a new pebbletec application would be applied. We have been asking and waiting since the first of October.I have been trying to get these issues resolved for the past year. I would prefer to have these issues resolved so we can move forward with the frustration in dealing with these guys but as with so many Liquid Concepts LLC/Old Town Pool and Patio and its affiliates things dont get address unless a lawsuit is threatened or enacted. It is unfortunate that everyone I have spoken with over the past two years has the same issues, poor craftsmanship, dont pay contractors, dont honor warranty work, dont want to resolve issues, failed responses, etc. Anyone tells you these guys do good work or they are happy with the company come visit ************* in *******, *****. I think they built 50+ pools in this community and no one has been happy with the end results that these guys produce.Liquid Concepts LLC. (*************************), Old Town Pool and Patio (*****************************) still own me $400.00 for the easement damaged caused for building the pool.

Atleast the pool holds water... I wouldn't recommend this company. I am all for supporting smaller companies but not with the poor communication, poor craftsmanship, and poor overall management. Even with ** pointing out the obvious errors every step of the way, we still ended up with: * a misshaped spa (even after them trying to correct, I have aerial photos of spa and two other rounded parts on the pool that are very noticeably off) * an "it could have been done better" plaster job, as the actual company owner stated after seeing it. * and after only two weeks of having Gro-Lac cement texture on patio ( forced with no choice to take this brand over cool deck brand that they originally told us they could do), it's already chipping up and was shrugged off as it may have been too humid when applied to the primer. Before they did the job, when I learned they couldn't do cool decking, I was told I couldn't take this option off the price and was forced to use a product that has zero reviews or warranty. (Photos available) * Not to mention a lien was about to be processed on my house because he didn't pay his plaster company. (I was sent the lawyer documents and a copy of the lien form that was being sent to the city I live in) This was finally resolved nearly 2 weeks later after lawyers got involved and he finally paid his workers. He has hidden his ******** reviews after multiple other negative reviews and I would hate for someone else to experience what we all did with this company. Do your research.
