7/18 transaction for *********************************$26.95 Vendor claimed to have shipped product the day BEFORE I ordered it. This is physically impossible, and a rather bold faced attempt at fraud. I placed an order online, noticed an issue with the shipping address and immediately contacted the customer service department. They claimed they are unable to make any changes because the product shipped the previous day lol... 20 minutes after ordering it. It's a stupid lie, but this way they don't have to lift a finger and leave me hanging. Meanwhile, the tracking number won't work (because it hasn't shipped at all yet) and they're lying and saying it already shipped the day before. Total dishonesty and fraud!I had to contact AMEX and will do a chargeback, I can't yet because EVEN though my order "shipped already" its still pending. This is a sad excuse for a company that refuses to provide ANY level of customer service or honesty regarding order status.

BestChineseMedicines uses the disclaimer on its website, as required by ** law, that their Yunnan Baiyao is "not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease" but then claims it can do all the next minute.Vet told me to buy some for my dog (who had to be put down at home on July 31 by another vet) for her SUSPECTED splenic tumor that caused abdominal bleeding (ultrasound and needle biopsy).Purchased 3 packs of Yunnan BaiYao on 7/20/23 for $32.45 (incl. Shipping and tax).Arrived in 1 week. Gave the supplement out of desperation. It worked, or so we thought. Dog had quickly lost her appetite, difficulty walking, vomited, and was in pain.Symptoms made worse after administration of the Yunnan BaiYao.My dog passed in my arms on 7/31/23 after another sleepless night. BCM advertises Yunnan BaiYao as "a miracle drug" that adds "longevity," "quality," and years to a dog's life because it "promotes healing... of splenic tumors."Most ingredients not listed because the Chinese CCP (product's country of origin) mandated by their laws that the "super-secret healing formula" be kept hidden. The product video is stock images with reviews that seem too good to be true that state that this supplement gas "saved [dogs] lives."Informed company of situation via email. ******** (owner) would not refund me due to the $5 restock fee and because I had administered the emergency pills due to my dog having recurrent bleeds (told to administer everytime her gums were pale). This product is misleading with its description. By law BCM is required to post the disclaimer, but then BestChineseMedicines turns around and essentially nullifies it the next second and advertises it as a "miracle healing drug," as if it's the holy grail of medicine whose recipe "not even the factory workers know."Not only did it fail to save my dog (who was my autism emotional support animal), my best friend since I was a kid; it had very little effect and seemed to worsen her suffering.

      In response to *******'s complaint:

We were very saddened to hear of *******'s loss. Losing a pet is always difficult, but likely more difficult for *******, who has autism.

Yunnan Baiyao (which ******* purchased), is our #1 selling product. We do not claim anywhere that Yunnan Baiyao will "cure" cancer. Yunnan Baiyao has been widely adopted for veterinary use. It was *******'s veterinarian that suggested he purchase this product for his pet. It seems that perhaps ******* didn't believe in his veterinarian 100% as he capitalizes the phrase "SUSPECTED splenic tumor". If *******'s pet did indeed have a splenic tumor, then the disease was already terminal and likely so far advanced that the Yunnan Baiyao did not help.

With regards to *******'s concern for false advertising:

We have over **** "verified" testimonials published on our website from both customers and veterinarians alike. We do not publish or advertise any "non-verified" reviews. We use a software called "judge.me", which is recognized as a trustworthy third party review curator in the industry.

With regards to *******'s request for a full refund on his purchase:

******* purchased 3 packs of Yunnan Baiyao from us, he opened and used some or all of every pack. We do have a 90-day return policy, but we also clearly state that the returned packages must be unopened and in resalable condition, this was not the case.

With regards to some of the "evidence" provided by *******, specifically:

      - Oddly Suspicious Review BCM.jpg
      - BCM False Claims Cancer in Dogs.jpg

I can find ZERO evidence that these are Best Chinese Medicines advertisements. I have checked through all of the reviews on the website and even looked at our advertising accounts. The two images ******* provided cannot be found. It is my opinion that ******* has fabricated these screenshots himself, using stock photos and made up reviews. Knowing that he has autism, I have to imagine that in his mind, this is his reality, but these are not our advertisements.

We take claims of false advertising very seriously.

Again, we are deeply saddened to hear of *******'s loss.

      To the Attention of BestChineseMedicines,

Forgive me for the misunderstanding. At this time, I will refrain from any further appeals as there was likely a breakdown in communication.

I am seeking now to have the BBB close this case. Let us go our separate ways and put this matter behind us.

I will speak with the vet.

      My apologies for any inconvenience.

      Thanks for the clarification.

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/09/19) */ Contact Name and Title: Gretchen S******** Contact Phone: ********** Contact Email: ******************************** We issued a refund for this on September 12th after it was received by us. We do not keep any credit card information on hand, so if this charge was "unauthorized" then I would suspect that their credit card information was stolen. This is the only order we have from this gentleman in the last two years.

My dog had cancer and we were referred to Best Chinese Medicines by our veterinarian. We ordered once with no problems, so I reordered his medication. on January 6th. I paid for expedited shipping because he was not doing well and I wanted the medication as soon as possible. I received an email that same day that let me know my order shipped. I tracked the order for several days, but the status never changed in the order. My dog died on January 11th, and my order still had not shipped. I emailed the company that night and asked for my order to be canceled. It took several days for me to receive a reply. I was told that my order has already shipped, but I could return it when I received it. I received another shipping confirmation email several days later. I once again emailed and asked how I could return my items. I received several different replies from the company. I was told they would send me a return label. I was also told I could put "package refused" or "return to sender". I was very confused about how to return the items and wanted to ensure it would get to the right place so I could receive a refund. The order finally shipped separately on January 13th and 14th, but I did not receive them until January 18th and 20th. The website states that orders usually ship within 1-2 days and expedited shipping takes 3-5 days. I emailed after the orders arrived to ask how to return the orders since I only had 30 days for returns. I finally received an email today (February 9th) at 2:44 PM that stated the company did not supply prepaid return labels, which is not what I asked in my email. It is my opinion that this company takes advantage of desperate pet owners because it can be difficult to find Yunnan Baiyao, which helps stop bleeding.
