We picked up our vehicle on July 21st. The damage was not repaired. They were paid for the job but did not complete the repairs.Initial Complaint

Vehicle was taken in for repair after local hailstorm in **** ** on 7/24/2023. Upon return of vehicle we found a missing passenger sunvisor. Called the owner ***** and told him about it. He said he would make it right and order a replacement. He had already closed his local **** shop so wasn't able to search the building for the lost part. I had to reach out to him after a week and he said he rejected the one he ordered and another was on the way. Called again and he said he rejected another one from the dealer and was ordering another. Called again after another week and he asked to come install it. he never showed up or contacted me. I have called dozens of times to the owner but he is not answering my calls or responding to my messages. I called the local dealer and the part cost is approximately $485 dollars.Initial Complaint

Our vehicle sustained extensive hail damage and Xpress Hail Repair (***********************- owner) was recommended to us by our Insurance Adjustor. When called to picked up our vehicle, we noticed that the car was not completely repaired. We were told they ordered parts from *** to complete the work & that it would take a week or so to get them in. They told us to take the ********** would call as soon as the parts were ready to be installed. After 3 weeks with no call, we called to check on the status of the ****************** of our job. We were given the run around over the course of a week. Excuse after Excuse. We finally learned that Xpress Hail Repair had left our area, not to return. We also found out, ***********************-owner, contacted **** @ Discount Dent of NSB and asked them to complete the work on our car. Xpress Hail Repair never contacted us to explain they were leaving the area & another shop would be completing the work. When ***** had the parts delivered to Bill, he would not give him any information regarding the repair, the estimate or our contact information, therefore the parts just sat.I met with **** @ Discount Dents, he said he had no way of contacting me as ***** ignored all calls requesting the repair estimate & contact information. He stated that ***** was to pay him directly once he completed my job. *** told **, that the parts were ready to be picked up the next day, but sat at the dealership for weeks. ***** never responded to ***'s calls regarding the ordered parts. It is apparent that ***** had no intention of picking up the parts until we called asking about the completion of our job. It wasn't until then that the parts were picked up.Once our job was finished, **** reached out to ***** for payment & was ignored. I called, my ******************** Ins called - all calls have gone unanswered. *********************** cashed the insurance checks & did not pay **** for his services. We paid **** @ Discount **** as ***** did not pay him.Business response
