      This incident happened March 30, 2024. I needed an oil change done on my new 2024 ****** Camry XLE. I came into Discount Kar Kare with a Groupon which I told the manager and was told there was a 30 minute wait. After waiting a technician named **** came to get the ******** wait inside the business lobby. After around 30 minutes or more pass and **** comes back to explain there's some issues with the car. He shows us that the coolant reservoir is nearly empty which my car never indicated it was overheating which I found strange. He also said my serpentine belt was skipping. I know absolutely nothing about cars. My husband has Young **************************** and we felt pressured to agree do to the fact that they most likely tampered my car. Afterwards I realized they put the wrong oil in my car. I posted a review on ******** & other women have told me about how they got scammed. One of the women lost her car because they did her coolant flush wrong. I am needing help to get my money back.

      I went to ****** of ********** today and I told them of the situation that happened to me on March 30th 2024. They told me the serpentine belt is the original one with the ****** stamp on it. You can see on the attached picture. Also, ****** of ********** performed an oil change even though discount kar kare claims they did an oil change. If they committed fraud by telling me they replace something they didn't, I don't believe they did any services that day March 30th 2024.

      I went to this shop to change the oil on 3/15, I was told the coolant was empty I need to refill it, the guy also stated the potential danger of it. As Im a dump on car, I agreed to do it. When I got home I found I exchanged it only 15 months ago, at ****** dealership, and I drove only 9732 miles since then, meaning it was impossible to be empty. The car shop lied to me to fraud my money. I returned to the shop the following day to ask for an explanation, the staff there were rude and called three polices to catch me. It was horrible. I am a Chinese girl, a new immigrant to the country, I never experienced a situation like this, it was scary, so I left. Im writing to you to seek the help, thank you.

      My name is *********************** and im the general manager at this location. To start off this customer came in for an oil change and she asked us to check everything on her car so we did a ********************** which we found her coolant to be empty. My guys took her outside and showed it to her in which she agreed to service it. I do understand that the dealership did it but that was 15 months ago and she did not mention it to us. The coolant was empty and the reservoir was empty which means it was either not done correctly at the dealership or the car has leak. If she told us that they did a coolant flush over a year ago we would have told her the exact same thing. At the end of the day we did our job and the work was done which she agreed to. She can take it up with the dealer since it clearly wasn't done properly there. The second day she came in to speak to a manager and we explained the same thing to her in which she started getting aggressive and even spit at the manager. We called the cops because she also told my guy she would kill them. After the cops arrived she was begging us not do press charges because she was going to get arrested so we dropped the charges and we asked her to never come back. If you guys have any questions you can even contact the lewisville police department who can give all that information.

      I am rejecting this response because:   I never said I would kill anyone. This is a SLANDER to me, I request the merchant to apologize to me. Please check with Police Department.

      I went to get an oil changed 2/20/23 at Discount Kar Kare . A few hours later , my car stopped and the engine start knocking. My boyfriend checked the oil and it was barely any in there . I got my car towed back to Discount Kar Kare the next day and my boyfriend went to talk to them. He spoke with the manager, ****, who stated they will look at the car . They called back and stated that the timing belt cracked. We decided to get the timing belt fixed. **** claimed it would take 2 weeks to get fixed and suggested to go through a finance company to cover charges . A week and a half later, I checked in with **** and was told they are waiting on the timing belt. He also mentioned coming in to sign a document that states if the timing belt is not the issue, they will not be liable. Signing the document made me suspicious, so we decided to do more research. Come to find out my 2017 ***** CX-5 doesnt not have a timing belt , it has a timing chain and it last ******* miles . My car at the time was at ******* miles. My boyfriend requested diagnostic codes to see how they came up with it being the timing belt. **** stated they do not do diagnostic codes. From there we decided to not go through with the repairs. **** claimed they were 90% done, which is contradicting because he originally told me they normally dont start without the document being signed. We told them to put everything back and provide documents of what was done. We also let them know we will be getting lawyers involved. Now I am stuck with a $2500 finance charge and I paid $4300 out of pocket to get my car fixed by another shop. Not to mention, I was without a vehicle for 2 months and never got any paperwork showing the work they claimed to have done. The mechanic that repaired my car confirmed there was very low oil in the car which caused the engine needing to be replaced. How could that be when I just got the oil changed?
